  1. Past hour
  2. I remember being in Confirmation class in that 99 game as we had it on Sunday afternoon. I remember our pastor turned the radio on and we all listened to the last drive. When you guys scored our whole class was so depressed.
  3. I have to pray he shows Morgan, Canales, Tillis, Tepper, what he really is over these last 8 games, and they can see it. However that works out, good or bad. Because no matter what he shows us over the backstretch here, the stans will refuse to admit anything. They twist Sunday’s 48 passer rating into him being a Franchise guy and play the ‘nothing is ever his fault’ games weekly. It is so boring, always the same poo since before the 2023 draft.
  4. Oy I usually map out the roster but I haven't done that this season. Hell, I'm having to look up jersey numbers in games when I see a play. Figures
  5. There’s no way in hell we draft a QB early in 2026. Bring in a vet with good size and a good arm to pair with Bryce. Got to see how the rest of this season goes to see if he’s brought in as a backup or a competitor.
  6. BY9 with that solid 42 pff grade. Worst starter on offense. Game breaker
  7. Between Ickey and the backups (sounds like a good name for a musical group) I should probably give a "Sold" to Joe Gilbert.
  8. Forgot about that personal foul on Rico. It cost us a point. That point could have made the difference. Green Bay had their chances too on Sunday. Jackson should have caught that ball too. Would have made a difference in how the last drive could have been played out. Would he had run for a TD or would he gotten far enough for a field goal. Who knows he didn't catch the ball, so we had to start at the 11 yard line and Young and Rico did march us down the field and didn't give back the ball back to Green Bay with anytime left on the clock. Team win yesterday.
  9. You guys beat Dallas so you have bragging rights over her. Young only also have bragging rights over me to since you beat us yesterday.
  10. Christian Rozeboom is a 6 year vet, not part of the 2025 draft class. So we definitely to upgrade after this year bc he’s going to keep taking bad angles. But yes, I agree on everything else.
  11. Yeah the margin for error with him at QB is razor thin. Just is what it is.
  12. I’d rather have Our QB. I do think Bryce is going to keep getting better though. He’s still learning. It’s what his 3rd season?
  13. Correct, the '99 game is the most memorable Panthers/Packers game ever in my book. The '96 NFCCG is second only because of how it ended.
  14. Some of it is probably just the hangover of being bad for so long. I’m still ready for it all to fall apart or blow it when we are favored. the run game is stellar and the defense is coming up with stops when they need to but this team still needs a big talent infusion. We see what happens when it goes wrong against playoff teams like NE or Buffalo. It’s clear the team is extremely limited by Bryce. We aren’t asking him to do much because he can’t. It’s like John Fox with The Golden Calf of Bristol in Denver.
  15. That particular part of the fanbase is my wife She's a diehard Cowboys fan (yeah) but now also cheers for the Panthers because of me.
  16. Ikem Ekwonu: Sold - Question is, how much is he going to cost and how are we going to pay everyone. Bad idea to pay Moton this past off season with Icky's contract on the horizon and 2 huge guard contracts and Bryce's 5th year option needing to be decided. Tetairoa McMillan: Sold WR1. Easy peasy Xavier Legette: Not sold Some days his head is in the game, some not. Not the guy you trade up to get in the 1st with better WRs on the table. Bryce Young: maybe as a backup, but only if I'm desperate Maybe as a backup, but not where he wants to be and certainly not for 5th year money. He'd need to take a serious pay cut and I can't see that happening. He'd be at the bottom of my options RBs Don't pay big contracts to RBs Nic Scourton: Getting more sold Like what I've seen of him so far and hope he continues to develop Derrick Brown: See McMillan, Tetairoa Jaycee Horn: See Brown, Derrick Tre'von Moehrig: See Horn, Jaycee 2025 Draft Class: Sold so far Liking it so far, but really hard to tell if these guys would be starters on a good NFL team, or if they are because the Panthers have been ass for so long. Dave Canales: Not sold at all Not sold at all. Leadership council to determine if Rico needs to play. Give me a fugging break. You don't bench the guy averaging 8YPC. His offense is generic, anemic and lacks big play ability. If Bryce or Andy can't do that, then tell your GM you need another QB. Had the opportunity this off season and didn't do it. Ejiro Evero: Trying hard not to be sold It's been surprising but not a fan of playing 10 yards off when it's 4th and 3. Hard to be extremely critical when everything has been mortgaged to surround our franchise game manager JAG. Dan Morgan: Not even close to sold Good draft this year and that's about all I've got to say positive. The QB room is a disaster. Last year's draft, fugging horrendous. Dumping an insane amount of resources to surround a bottom of the barrel QB to be a game manager and then everyone bitches because our defense has no players. We are in a poo situation this offseason with our offense. Decision on Bryce's 5th year with yet another forgettable season, an overpaid offensive line that needs a true center and to sign our now expensive franchise LT, a backup QB that should have been put out to pasture 2 years ago, a less than ideal 2026 QB class, a bleh FA QB market, and several teams with QB needs. David Tepper: Please sell He's still involved as evidenced by him openly stating he walks through the building making his opinion widely known and Dalton being kept and keeping Bryce competition free and his job 100% safe.
  17. I was told by everyone on here that 2025 was weak and 2026 would be better. Crazy I heard the same stuff the year before, and the year before that. Joking aside, 2026 QB are ass.
  18. 76 replies and not a single person has a legitimate answer on who they would bring in. BY will make 9M next year regardless of what happens so he will be here next year. It will cost around 26M to sign him to his fifth year extension. The real question is who would you bring in instead of paying him. Who is or will be available? Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, Kenny Picket, Sam Howell, Geno Smith. Are any them going to make the Panthers significantly better? Brock Purdy and Daniel Jones may become available but neither will be cheap. What would you pay for them - assuming you don't sign Young to 26M
  19. Well if you want a qb who limits interceptions I have an exciting trade opportunity for you.
  20. That’s what I said is that we missed the field goal. I’m saying Love threw nearly 2 more interceptions.
  21. I definitely agree but I still feel like until you get a “better QB” it’s all moot. I don’t want us investing more in RBs when we’ll need to extend Ickey and sign a QB soon. Also we need a premier pass rusher.
  22. Red zone woes did you guys in. You could move the ball, but not seal the deal when it counted. Teams can overcome a turnover or two, but you can't generally win relying largely on FGs.
