  1. Past hour
  2. We have the 13th pick right now and thats actually not a bad spot for 6 wins and second in the division. If we lose these last games to better teams as projected. We might get back in the top 10.
  3. I think so. The rub is, you cannot remake yourself down to that molecular type level of all your techniques and ways you do things, at the top level of your profession, on the fly. If at all. I made at least a dozen posts over the years explaining my thoughts on that issue. He would have had to have that stuff in order from day one. I think it would been a different story, completely. Or could have been. You can’t fix height or arm strength or foot speed or size, to any significant degree though and he should have never been drafted so high. Even with better technique. That was a horrible call on our part.
  4. He will be 36 next year with 2 years on his deal. 26 is manageable but in 2027 it jumps to 40 million per. I dont see how that is anywhere close to a solution.
  5. He’ll be gone. The SF game was his Waterloo.
  6. The FA WR class doesn’t move me at all. Pierce is going to get paid. He’d be a nice get but not for what I assume he’ll fetch For me it’s neck and neck. We have a non existent pass rush but we also have 0 pass catchers worth a damn outside of TMac and that includes the tight ends on this roster They’ll definitely have to draft either an edge or WR then sign/trade for the other
  7. Bryce in truly rare country. Best of all we likely replace him with Geno next year!
  8. At top pay scale, me too. I thought there was a way he could have made it work with his diminished physical tools but he would have needed to accept that he should probably be in a lower tier, contract wise. His ego. Tepper’s ego, the agent in the middle… didn’t work.
  9. Yeah it is a mixed, and mixed up, bag. I think removing the Bryce variable is the first step. If that happens and Canales is still doing counter intuitive things, take the next step. And that is why we don’t need a huge investment in QB in the draft - that may not be the best move. We need to be sure on Canales before doing that. We should get a vet or three in here.
  10. Dude.. that doesn't look far off.. And sure, Cam looks like he threw for slightly more yards.. if you watched him you could see him arm was broken... you cannot sign him to a new record breaking contract with that.
  11. And yet, you’re still here to remind us what the upper echelons of our fanbase look like… I guess.
  12. I never thought I would say this, but I dont think I want them to make the playoffs. I feel like if we make the playoffs we are stuck with Bryce again. Do playoffs teams typically part ways with QBs? I'm just so ready to move on, I'm willing to accept whatever it takes. I honestly dont care who our QB is next year. Just not Bryce Young.
  13. No one is making the argument that Cam was a better QB in every aspect than BY. BY's super power was supposed to be his decision making... and we can see how that has played out..
  14. Agree 100% Cam was a superstar that wasn't ready to acknowledge that he was no longer that. I don't even blame him for that. Cam could at least say he deserved to get paid cause of who he was. But glad the team didn't resign him.
  15. Also, this is an NFL thread. We do have like 15 different Bryce Young/QB threads to choose from when it comes to the search for a new QB. Let's not completely derail this.
  16. That sounds about right. It is certainly in the range of conceivable outcomes.
  17. Dillon Gabriel and JJ McCarthy. Somehow they have managed to be worse than Bryce.
  18. Pretty hard to feel bad for a guy that was basically groping women near constantly for the better part of two decades. they “went after Richardson” because he’d torched the inheritance plans for his team and was barely competent anyway. It was easier to clear the way and let someone pay cash than to drag it all out and turn it into another New Orleans situation. Of course we got stuck with tepper but from the leagues perspective none of his freak poo has come out yet and he’s better at hiding it.
  19. That is how I remember it too. It was similar to how people portray Bryce in 2026 without his option picked up. I mean people didn’t think it was gonna be peaches and cream with Cam on an expiring contract, same as they are predicting for Bryce. IIRC the impression I got was Cam was not gonna be happy and if Cam ain’t happy nobody’s happy, to borrow a cliché from mama. It isn’t like Bryce because Bryce is the same Bryce, but Cam was not the same Cam. You cannot overlook that but I felt like his attitude was he expected the team to do business as usual. Not to acknowledge the fact that he was physically different and have that reflected in a new valuation. Which I don’t know how that was supposed to work out..
  20. His stats for the Patriots 2020 look better that your boy Bryce this year, so shut the fug up about not being able to throw...
  21. Hell we drafted another one first overall who cant throw the ball,at least Cam was a threat to run...
  22. That never was reported it was from a dumb Instagram post of his
  23. Today
  24. And, I'd add that I don't remember a towel over his head being a big Huddle thing, or a thing at all here. Maybe on Reddit or something... Who would get really upset to the point where they wanted to kick Cam to the curb because he put a towel on his head or pouted when he lost? You need to take that poo to Facebook.
