If we're just keeping it 100 even with Bryce our hope for the upcoming season with him largely originates from practice reps where he was wearing a red jersey.
-
And freeze your ass off at the same time.
-
Ok, I remember Renfrow jumping high but forgot it was Plummer throwing.
-
Completely agree. Its hilarious how if you still say even the slightest thing critical about bryce your replies and notifications light up like christmas and I'm not even a lil bit bothered in comparison. But I dont mind slinging poo right back for the fun of it. It is what it is.

OSU week 1 is about as tough of a pull you can get.
-
The issue is in that timespan we should know what we have in our 4th round pick Trevor Etienne and if he is looking the part and then some would you prioritize Brooks over him who is making considerably less? There will be multiple factors to consider. But the biggest will be has Dave Canales become a successful head coach? That's the gamechanger for all of it.

It was Plummer they are talking about

That happened to me once, hahaha Because our agency's main client had huge layoffs, we had to have our own batch of them. The agency really didn't think through who they were cutting and why, it was purely based on the department/team you worked in. After a month, they called me and said they wanted me back in the same role but on another team. I told them I was already getting interviews/offers for jobs/salaries much better than I had there as they should have given them to me years before. In the end, I got a 2 title bump, a 20% raise, and started the day after my severance from the layoffs ended (which was sizable as I had been there 5 years). So I got a big promotion and raise to get a free 6 week paid vacation before starting on the new team. The problem was that I turned down a job that I knew I should have taken instead, as I knew it wasn't a good fit on that team for me. But I was arrogant and liked knowing the whole office would know they had to give me a huge raise given my new title and I took it purely for that reason, and of course it then went exactly like I thought and I hated it.

I'm rooting for Bryce but I can't lie he was bsing on his throws to Renfrow.

All this franchise has done under the Tepper's is give people millions for nothing.
-
Trust me I get it if my wife was bugging me every day to move somewhere else I would do the same as AT. Point being, that isn’t the Panthers problem. Sorry dude go deal with your wife and take the millions of dollars we’re paying. Not doing your wife “a solid”

Scourton - Collapsed Lung, Week-to-Week
ECHornet replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good question. He looked good in the extremely limited looks he’s had in a Panthers uniform. My hope is he becomes a knockoff J Gibbs in relief of Hubbard. My realistic thought is he’ll be a threat in the passing game over the next two years and then, if he is an asset, take a reasonable deal on a second contract due to his limited play and extensive injury history. -
False. He went out of his way to publicly praise the current rookie QB for the Vikings going as far as saying he could become the face of the league. This was back in early June. Something was brewing for awhile.

Coker to IR; Renfrow signed to 53
Dave Gettleman's Shorts replied to amcoolio's topic in Carolina Panthers
wish I could get fired from my job and get a raise afterwards because my bosses are incompetent -
I mean you can sugarcoat it any way you choose but he wanted to go to Minny to play with a guy that has never started in the nfl. why you want to argue this point is quite perplexing. It was never going to end well for the panthers once AT wanted out "It's kinda hard, when I sit Adam Thielen down in my office and he is just really wanting to go there and he's pretty adamant that 'this is what I want, this is where I want to go,' I didn't really want to stand in his way," Morgan told Kyle Bailey of WFNZ radio in Charlotte. "It was something that he was really convicted about. He wanted to go and finish his career there. Obviously he's from there, he has a house there, he has young kids. There's a human side to it, too." https://www.si.com/nfl/vikings/news/panthers-gm-adam-thielen-was-adamant-he-wanted-go-minnesota

Drew Allar?

Realistically what is your expectation? Do you envision him coming back next year and suddenly running roughshod over defenses in 2026 and 2027 and then getting a big new contract? Of course it is theoretically possible. I wouldn't bet anything of value on it though. Being out of football your first two years in a new league at a different level is not something that can just be dismissed. There are very few rare football players who would go on to establish a really good to great career following such circumstances. I'd love to see Brooks become one of them. But those odds are not in his favor.

Coker nooooo!!!! Renfrow??
-
Well, Arch is out. Who are the Panthers taking No. 1 next April?
-
No he didn't, he was perfectly happy here until the Vikings badly needed a WR and showed interest. He didn't "want out" as you say, he just wanted this opportunity once it arose. I still think we should have played hardball and demanded more for him, not because he was worth it in a trade, but because he was worth more to to our team than the return we got for him.
-
Coker a huge loss. Got to think that was the most reliable target week 1
-
Renfrow clearly hurt Coker to get more money. Sneaky ole vet…

All the star players are a little rusty
