Shawn Clark Former App State Coach Passed Away
Captain Morgan replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
public now. We got the word on Yosef's Cabin last night. Last I had heard was that he was improving. 2 time All American as an OL. My prayers for his family. He had 2 young children. -
You clearly didn't watch the game. It wasn't ugly it was glorious. A pick six and almost another by Jackson and keeping Atlanta's rushing game in check after being so porous. You think this is an aberration which it probably is. But I hope it is a harbinger of things to come especially on defense. The Panthers formula outside of a few years with Cam is to have a great defense and an opportunistic offense who makes the most of short fields and minimizes turnovers. I would like to get back to that.

I mean, sure it's a valid point, but you must remember that it's an average. Bryce Young had 2.46 seconds to pass on average. The average in general across the league is around 2.5 to 2.9 seconds, meaning that, sure, it was somewhat shorter, but you still take your shots when you can get them, and hopefully connect.
-
I'm not seeing anything official as of right now. But there are a few reports suggesting the Canes will sign him.

Today’s Starters
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
But Dave sets the lineup, just hoping he can see the obvious roster moves to make -
In Dan I trust.
-
It's mildly surprising to see David Moore play 56/58 snaps on offense while Tremayne and Renfrow played 16 or 17 snaps each. Tells you a bit about the current hierarchy at WR.
-
So the Panthers beat a division rival 30-0 and you guys are on here to show how bad Bryce Young is?! So you don't really want Carolina to win. You want them to win the way you think they should win. With who you want them to win with. Do you have any idea how goofy this ish is?
-
I really think they came into that game cocky thinking the W was guaranteed and they could use it as an opportunity to work on some different stuff. You just can't take any game for granted in the NFL. At the end of that day, that team might suck relative to the other NFL teams but it's still comprised of some of the best football players on the planet. There's a MUCH smaller talent gap between the #1 and the #32 NFL team than there is the #1 and #32 college team. Hell, there's probably a smaller gap between #1 and #32 in the NFL than there is #1 and #10 in college.

Nice false narrative. After dismantling the Vikings and scoring 20 against Tampa they were being crowned contenders and would crush us. Announcers seemed almost upset that Atlanta got crushed rather than giving us any praise

lmao

Our O-Line was clearly built to be a run-blocking unit but has also clearly been a better pass-blocking unit this season, no clue what to make of that. Mike Jackson was a great trade by Dan Morgan, he's grown nicely into CB2 role. Chau Smith Wade also been awesome for a 5th round pick. Latham Ransom
-
ask crowded as our WR room was going into the season, I did not see this coming. I did not see a lot of the ufa's coming.
-
Stopped? Of the four player recording rushes, none averaged less than 4 YPC. The team average was 5.7 YPC. We didn't come close to ever slowing their running game down. That was why it was so insane to see them keep passing over and over.
-
There was a defender right on him - Bryce threw it the only place he could and it NOT be an int or pass defended
-
Jets played the Bucs pretty tough recently the Cowboys always give us problems outside of rare ones like 2015 and the Patriots or Dolphins could be a toss up.
-
Those 3 specific games are through November 2nd. So a little over a month. Not sure what we're arguing about.
-
Seeing two tight ends in the top 5 sure does sound promising. Cade Mays should be the starter going forward, but I felt that way before the numbers hit. Tremayne train is surprising to me, but I am certainly on board. What does Ransom have to do to be starter around here? Young guys showed up. CSW also played a good game.
-
Any of the next 4 (Patriots, Dolphins, Cowboys, Jets) are winnable
-
the next month is patriots, dolphins, cowboys and jets you're half a month ahead
-
When we stopped Bijan and made them pess, they were exposed.
-
Bucs barely beat the Jets yesterday and were already a mash unit on their offensive line when they played the falcons. The Falcons got six sacks against JJ McCarthey who after the game was "injured." He suck worse than bryce who cares. okay then does Tet jumping fifteen feet in the air and pulling down a bryce blimp not count as a throw? I don't remember if there was a defender behind him there but that ball isn't an NFL throw and should have been six the other way. we can go back and forth on this. At the end of the day, like I said, the common factor for the last three seasons of hell is Bryce.
-
We start off with usually one or two primary reads and a third read which is your checkdown on most passing plays. But we do send a back in the flats as a check down or primary route when the defense doesn't send someone to cover. Or like yesterday we audiblized to it to slow down the blitz. All teams run similar plays. It is a copycat league. But you run plays consistent with the talent on your team. That has held us back somewhat.

Anybody else looking to hop on the Brycen Tremayne bus, come on aboard.
