  1. Past hour
  2. They drafted incredibly well for two years prior to their jumping off. it starts and ends there. We have to start hitting on rounds 1-4
  3. So the solution is to do what? Buy our way out? If it was that easy every team would be a juggernaut. The culture is established by management and the players. If management is bad they draft bad players and that's your culture. Its is deeply rooted in this organization and has been for a very long time.
  4. Tepper has had a few retired NFL minds help him on the side in a silent-consultant type basis. That has likely given him the assurance he could figure it out but it hasn’t worked. …so now, as some have been mentioning, it’s time to find a true President of Football Operations who is his liaison and he just goes full hands-off. Doesn’t even need to pretend he’s Mr. Charlotte either. Just sit back, throw the cash, get out of the light (which I’d say he’s done to a certain effect) Many have been screaming for this since the first reset before we hired Rhule. If you can find that guy, that’s the starting point. Have them map out the blueprint for finding a GM who dictates the vision, and then those two find their HC. BUT If we don’t hit that full reset, and get a PFO, we need to get lucky and find a generational player or coach that changes everything. There’s nothing any player on our roster can do to transform the team. McMillan, Horn, DB and Chuba are a start, but may be on their way out by the time we correct it. I can give Canales a bit of grace these next 5-6 weeks but then pressure is on if it’s looking bad. Bryce, I’m mostly done with him. Two main Personnel objectives should be: -Accrue high draft capital (figure out how to gain picks to create multiple 1sts and 2nds) -ID a blue chip DE and LB. -Roadmap a QB scenario with both a vet and rookie. I’d take anything at this point, Stidham and Mateer IDFK
  5. Last refuge of someone who’s wrong on the internet. “Just wait until he leaves and gets better and THEN I’ll be right.” then they just kinda slink away and never bring it up again. and as someone who’s almost never wrong about the panthers, that’s the most frustrating part. Someone who had been demonstrably wrong and irritating for years will simply vanish and rereg a month later and find something else to hang their online persona on. There’s no resolution, there’s no catharsis barely even get satisfaction anymore. Oh well, posting for the love of the game I suppose.
  6. I agree. Until the Pats game he was money. The entire special teams group decided to sit the pat's game out.
  7. Every other team in the league practically has a kicker that's good from 60. This guy barely made it to the endzone on a 55 yarder that was wide right even if it was long enough. Like Cam said, keep the main thing the main thing. Cool, you have a nifty little kickoff trick. That's nice. But putting the ball through the uprights is the main thing.
  8. Dave is going to be forced to do something if this continues, which it will. I'm just wondering how bad it has to get before Young is benched?
  9. So many of them were registered at the end of 2022. I guarantee Bryce has a brand management company working for him with a bunch of sock puppet twitter accounts spamming ai hype slop. September 2022 (the date I most often see) would have been when he started trying to campaign for another heisman even tho he wasn’t playing nearly as well as he had the year before.
  10. I know his performance wasn't great against the Pats but the man has been an absolute boon for us otherwise. When was the last time we were proactive in figuring out something before the majority of the league did?
  11. Wonder if Flores will get HC consideration or if he's blackballed after his lawsuit... I'd be down to even trade for him as Def. Coord, and there's your HC in waiting if/when we fire Canales next year since I don't think it's this year. Bring in a vet stop gap QB (again), draft a guy in the 2nd/3rd. Draft true BPA and pray we learn how to draft Pray the QB works out, if not, you've helped assemble the team around him for 2027.
  12. Doesn’t matter. When you have a QB who struggles to get the ball to his receivers, we could have Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and T.O. out there and Bryce still gonna finish with <200 yards and a 55% completion pct.
  13. I’d love to hear a detailed argument as to why Dan Morgan should keep his job Especially if we’re planning to restart again
  14. Just my opinion but we need to get great players not quantity. Sounds simple but we need to take BPA every round for a while. Talent sucks here. Oh and everything is just soft, too nice. We need a leader who can motivate these guys and crack some skulls so to speak. Not sing carols and be everybody’s friend
  15. The team needs a culture change. We need a HC that will come in and smash skulls. A guy that knows how to win and has the creds to demand respect. After that, we need a QB that is the same type of leader. A guy who can put the game on his back and demand the respect and effort of the players around him. None of that is easy, but we can’t draft our way out of a terrible culture.
  16. I would trade XL for a 3rd personally. I don’t see him blossoming into much any time soon
  17. I will be pulling for him…I’ll just leave it at that
  18. Fire Evero immediately. That's step one. I am sick of this soft defense. It's pathetic.
  19. Nadeau sent to Chicago, he’s probably the first guy called up if there’s an injury to the top 9. I also think Smith makes it and Jaaska gets waived with an injury settlement or goes on IR. It also wouldn’t totally shock me if Labanc comes back on a two-way if he doesn’t get signed by someone else. It probably goes… Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Stankoven - Blake Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jankowski - Smith Slavin - Walker Miller - Chatfield Nikishin - Gostisbehere Reilly Andersen Kochetkov IR: Jaaska Call-Up’s - Nadeau, Legault, Primeau
  20. More than anything we need to become a serious football team again. I'm not saying we need to be contenders. But we need to be competing in nearly every game Right now we are the laughing stock and punching bag of the league
  21. First thing's first, Tepper has to GTFO of football operations. Like all the way out. Go run the business. Leave football up to the football people. If the football people aren't working out then replace them and lean on football people to help you find those replacements. Until this happens then we are who we are.
  22. Been mulling over this for a few days bear hands so as always good post First is i think we need to move on from Canales. My inclination is to hire Brian Flores as HC and see if Mike McDaniel would be available as OC. Although I could see both saying no thank you to David tepper Second is trading Bryce for whatever you can get. Third id sign a veteran QB this off-season. Nothing more than a 2 year deal. Maybe Justin Fields, maybe the Raiders move on from Geno Fourth I either take the best defensive player with our round 1 or ideally trade down for future draft capital Five FA I would target LB, a veteran WR 2/3, and FS Six as a gesture of goodwill to the fans and players reinstall grass at bank of america (he won't do this this)
