  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks soo much @Icege for keeping us updated on everything
  3. In my ideal scenario, you are working Tmac, XL, and Coker all through the slot at times. Not limiting it to Renfrow. Renfrow shouldn't take ATs role because neither need that volume of snaps. Easier for everyone to get open in the slot. Especially youngsters. Renfrow should just be the one running the stereotypical slot routes when needed. I think Horn is a next year player
  4. The reality is that teams don't have 3 qb's because they are "developing" for the future. The only development going on is qb1 unless they are a 5 plus year vet. They bring in qbs in the offseason as a camp arm that may upgrade your backup or to replace the starter if there isn't one. If your team needs a starter the draft is the best way, not free agency.
  5. On one hand, Renfrow being out for as long as he has makes me question whether or not he can take on a full season. AT is older, but might have more in the gas tank than Renfrow does currently. On the other, Jalen Coker and Jimmy Horn Jr can both rotate in as the slot for Renfrow. It's a nice position to be in where the Panthers maintain all of the leverage.
  6. Meanwhile, Davis Mills is all the competition Houston needs. /s If only they were a dynastic team like the Raiders who have the infallible Aidan O'Connell and now the Kenny Pick6 in the room. That's a team built for back-to-back-to-back Super Bowls.
  7. I think it's more likely they finish ahead of GB and Chicago, although anything is possible in that division.
  8. And was still far and away our best receiver on the field last year when he was healthy...
  9. Not to mention they might finish last in their division with the Lions already being good and an improved Packers and Bears squads
  10. And neither has done anything to stand out or move up the depth chart. Renefrow is not physically up to playing a full game yet and may never be again. Horn has not done enough to move up either. He's been passed by an udfa for goodness sake. Just being fast isn't enough to guarantee a roster spot.
  11. I think keeping Horn with Thielen is the better approach. At this point he’s more than just a player to the guys in the room and even the quarterback. He’s a coach on the field and on the sideline. If the Vikings want him, they will pony up, period.
  12. Theres a lot more to whats evaluated then just what you see a few snaps of preseason games. We see nothing of the daily practices and camps.
  13. He's not asking out. Minnesota called to inquire. Team asked Thielen how he felt about the possibility and he was fine with it. End of story.
  14. I question whether its media making it more than what it is. Is AT more interested in being a Viking on the topic of being dealt or is AT no longer interested in being a Panther? Maybe im wrong. Im not really for or against this trade, but if i had to choose... i would just wait until we have at least somewhat more of answer on Bryce. Obviously this is without my knowledge of how AT truly feels. Also, he didnt need camp to prove we aren't legit this year.
  15. What has Horn done to justify a roster spot? Neither has the TE they just drafted. Horn cannot play special teams either so he is in danger.
  16. Cancer is a strong word but he has had outbursts in the past couple of seasons when things were going south. I think what is happening here is he got his raise, sees this team probably isnt doing jack poo this year and his hometown team has a tremulous opportunity that just opened up for him. He knows the vikes are for real this year and more importantly last but not least it seems his wife is in favor of this move.
  17. Today
  18. I mean I doubt he is the type that would be a cancer if we didn't move him. He has money keeping him happy for this year. I doubt its Vikings or nothing, if that were the case he would've never re-signed with us in the first place IMO.
  19. I can believe that with Renfrow but Horn isn’t going anywhere. Panthers aren’t cutting a dude they just drafted, who also happens to have a ton of potential.
  20. Well said, I prefer to keep AT at this point but if he is asking out not sure how that is going to help matters in the long run
  21. I mean, it probably has good enough odds to be a good flyer bet, but everything we've heard from camp from the staff is that he is slowly getting his legs back under him. Each day he is getting slightly back to form. I don't know if he would have an immediate major impact on O but likely a gradual impact if AT is shipped off. Im not against an AT trade, but i think we should wait to do it. If everything is on bryce, then lets keep AT until we get our answer. I would just hate to have injuries hit us in that room after dealing AT.
