  2. Miami plays Cleveland and Atlanta has Boston.
  3. There is a possibility that however people were measured it differs from what is being done elsewhere. There were apparently a number of prospects that disagreed with their measurements at the combine... Maybe I just missed it but I'd never heard of this level of it before.
  4. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Going by this chart that won’t get it done, at all. both of our 5th rounders are worth 56, total. The 51st is valued at 390. Moving to 41 takes 100 points. In the second where we are, it is basically 10 points per slot. You can get in front of TB for 60 points. Baltimore at 45. Which who would do that for 56 points? You are on a wing and a prayer. To realistically have a good shot at these top guys, outside of Golday, it is gonna take at least 100 points, I am thinking. And when they go, Golday’s market probably gets a lot hotter. Just going by the rankings/valuations, I am thinking if you realistically want to assure you get your guy it will take trading back in the first. Which is why I have been saying to do that if we can. For example 19 is valued at 875. 21 is 800. That, plus one of the 5ths gets you to 100 points which you theoretically could use to get to 41. I think there are going to be several good options for us at 19, if we are good with taking what is left at 21-23 we can get a good player plus fund a trade up for one of these LBs which is what I am thinking makes sense.

  6. I'm just letting everyone know he's on the list in the second tier, not that I think it gets there because Donovan wants the job. UNC is waiting on Lloyd and Arizona's run to end, if that doesn't work out then Donovan is likely the new head coach.
  7. When I lived in the area you could get a BIG KFC sized cardboard bucket of wings for about $5 anywhere and everywhere along with the blue cheese dressing and celery sticks to go with them. And they were all delicious. Of course that was close to 40 years ago. probably selling wings for a buck a piece now.
  8. I hope you win half your bets
  9. Uruguay celebrating that penalty and a draw after not crossing midfield all game is a joke
  10. Looking forward to another good night of hoops.
  11. Uruguay has the attacking ability of a goldfish. They may not advance out of a very weak world cup group.
  12. Boomer donors will line up to pony up for Donovan because they remember him being a great coach. They're not lining up to pony up for a guy that's two games over .500 in the SEC through two years.
  13. He's on the coaching search list but they are waiting on May, Donovan and Lloyd before him.
  14. When is this updated? I got 2nd all by myself.
  15. He's not ready for a UNC level gig. Maybe he'll earn a shot at a blue blood job at some point, but a couple of decent seasons at Vandy just ain't enough. If he was in the family, maybe he gets a shot but that guy ain't gonna be the guy that gets Carolina to go outside the family. Mark Few should've been after Roy retired but not at 63.
  16. Mark Byington wants the job but UNC has Donovan ahead of him on their list.
  17. I could see it and would love it. For Rod or Golday. Or for even one of the higher tier DBs like Haulcy. I don’t think we should do anything with our first unless a good offer comes with a trade down. But using some late round ammo to assure we land a day-1 starter in the 2nd is a sound move.
  18. I'm probably 45 min east of you in Bills Country, yet still can't pull myself to root for the Bills even with all the ex-Panthers. I still remind the fans that its all Panthers people in charge.
  19. Hiring a 60 year old who has been out of coaching for a decade would be a serious disappointment. College basketball is a completely different universe to navigate than it was when Billy Donovan was a great coach.
  20. I missed May from my first list. The three people currently in the running are Dusty May, Billy Donovan, and Tommy Lloyd. I still think it comes down to Lloyd and Donovan with Donovan as the favorite to land the job.
  21. I don't claim to be rational in my disgust with the Bills, but I feel the disgust nonetheless.
  22. I think we package one of our 5ths to move up in the second
  23. If it’s not Sadiq at 19 ( I hope it’s not him) I think we see what shakes out in FA. We’ve drafted two guys in the last two drafts on day 3, so I don’t see any upside going back to that well….especially in this draft. I could see if Njoku’s number comes down or someone else as a vet and true upgrade on a 1-yr deal. Re-visit next offseason and see if Sanders or Evans becomes what we want them to be between now and then. At some point, if we want to upgrade TE, we have to invest in a trade, an early draft pick or FA. These 4th rounders and beyond are what they are.
