but in terms of OP? What is Bryce supposed to say. The past couple seasons have made it well known there really is nothing to gain by listening to folks on a bad team have to answer questions about why they stink. They aren't going to be real or tell truths. It's just the spin zone.

When Coker comes back we have to replace XL in the lineup with him. Playing XL at this point practically amounts to playing 10 vs. 11.
-
I formally apologize to TMJ and Mingo for comparing them to XL this offseason. You guys deserve better than that.
-
I believe that if you have a drug test at work coming up you better find you some clean piss and tape it to your leg.

In 118 snaps so far this season, Xavier Legette has managed to amass an entire 8 more yards of offense than a Huddle poster. 4 catches for 8 yards and 1 rushing attempt for 0 yards.

We did a complete roster tear down after 2018. Everyone here was clamoring for it, while I was not. Competent and competitive franchises never do this. They constantly retool. It keeps continuity even across staffs and helps maintain a certain level of culture. That is all now gone from our organization. We have no culture, we have no continuity. It's basically just a bunch of guys drifting through on their way other places or out of the league. This is why you never tear down a roster and especially without any stability or structure in the FO. We doomed ourselves to failure from the first moment of Tepper's era. He tore down everything and rebuilt in "his" image. Look upon it, Panther fans. This is exactly what you asked for and these are the results.

yeah, XL didn't do anything actually week 2 like the toe thing week 1. Dave can't scheme him up a play. Those go horrible (like the handoff or the screen that wasn't really even a screen). Nothing was there. as for the rest, XL just isn't a good enough WR for his route running to shake himself open on some predictable routes. Most targets to him were off target or thrown to be contested balls. I will say this, XL does not play to his size though when a ball is up in the air. He doesn't seem to actually have any sort of advantage for a contested 50/50 ball. That's really a skill set more than size thing. Some dudes just go up great.

I have a blue peppers too. Also have a black smitty and white Stewart. Haven’t worn them in years.

I watched a breakdown on XL recently, maybe it was here, but I’m less critical of him afterwards. He showed every touch he had against AZ, and most of them were doomed from the start. And I know it seems easy and convenient, but I think it all starts and ends with Bryce. Until we have someone who is a threat to throw the ball downfield, guys are gonna keep loading up the box and being super aggressive blitzing and closing out on tackles because they have no consequence for NOT doing so. And then a lot of the targets he got against AZ weren’t even on target. Much like with those jump balls Bryce threw to Renfrow, just because you get your hands on it doesn’t mean it’s catchable ball.

Legette is a Luxury to the team.
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to Kick's topic in Carolina Panthers

luxury = UNNECCESARY
-
I see a lot of talk about loss of confidence and I believe there is an element of that. But it's the lack of effort on tape that is the real concern. Confidence can perhaps be fixed but just mailing it in is a whole different ball game.
-
Replace luxury with burden and it makes sense.
-
Kick started following Legette is a Luxury to the team.
-
"We've communicated like I communicate to everyone else," Young said in a press conference. "Having a guy like that out there, it's a luxury for me. It's a luxury for this offense. We all, as an organization, have a ton of faith in him."
-
People just couldn't wait to move on from Ron/Hurney....
-
Do we miss Marty Hurney yet? lol
-
If we win 2+ games in that stretch, I would say we are on schedule to meet expectations. Anything less and I think DC might actually have a shot at getting fired by the end of the year.

Because we suck at QB talent evaluation, especially with respect to the NFL Draft. We have only had one above average starting caliber QB even on the roster since Cam, Baker Mayfield. And that was typical roster dysfunction that led to him being axed. Wilks didn't like Baker so he essentially canned him. Another of many reasons why I will never understand how some fans get so stuck up on Wilks as being this "missed opportunity." He was a bottom shelf NFL HC. He only looked good because we had that retarded nitwit, Matt Rhule as a HC prior to him. Anyway, our QB issues are all self inflicted. We can't evaluate worth a fug and then when we get mildly serviceable(Bridgewater) or potentially starting caliber(Mayfield) options, we fug it up.

You see, this is why I'm more critical of Dave Canales
Pejorative Miscreant replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just a small punch list here. Good news is that the team has helmets and indoor plumbing. Poised to take a leap any day now! -
This game determines a lot moving forward. Big difference between 1-2 and 0-3. Pats, Cowboys, Dolphins, Jets after this. None of which are impossible. I haven’t worn one of my jerseys on game day in a long time. Maybe I break out the vintage blue Peppers

Well Bryce is leading that group, and he's honestly not very good...so what do you expect. -
It's the Panther way.
