  1. Past hour
  2. I wasn't aware of him being a two way player....
  3. we'll start announcing our own soon. Think noon Tuesday is the deadline to get down to 53.
  4. Can't think of a better place to spend the money than there.
  5. There is, what, 6ish QBs that are projected to have a 1st round grade in 2026. I am not that worried if we are still drafting top 15. Anything pass that, guess we are sticking with Bryce for another year.
  6. If you don't want to part with something, you will keep it. Until the asking price gets to a certain point. You don't trade your best receiver for a 6th round pick. Period. Periodt. Don't even answer the phone without a 3rd being offered. They want him, they will pay for him. Otherwise, tell them to kick rocks.
  7. I'm not aware of any DIII programs that have any linemen in their 30s so I dont think thats the case
  8. Yeah, if there are still question marks after this season and there's a guy on the board when we're up that we think has a chance to be a franchise QB then you have to pull the trigger and move on. We will have given Bryce a fair shake at that point giving him three years and spending a ton of resources on OL and WRs.
  9. I keep hearing this but I'm not buying it. The only QB I'd really want would be Manning. Maybe Allar ends up alright but I'm not betting the farm on him. Who else is there? Carson Beck? Quality player with time, folds under pressure. I've watched Joey Aguilar for two years and believe he could be a Day 3 pick which is career back-up with some upside. Good kid. I just don't know that I'm buying "QB rich". There are no generational dudes in this draft and it's reminding me a lot of 2023 when we took Bryce. There is no Daniels, Williams, Maye, and Nix in this class. Keep in mind that's also why I wanted to trade down in 2023. Had we traded down, and sucked, we would have DJ Moore still, and we would have Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, or Drake Maye. Let that sink in.
  10. There's maybe 10 wr's in the NFL worth a 3rd or more in a trade. Lmfao
  11. Get that 3rd rounder, Thielen will be gone after this year anyway and a 35 year old should not be your number 1 WR.
  12. Nothing worse going into the off-season wondering will they or won’t they move on from Bryce. I say anything less then stellar you movie on. Especially if we are drafting top 10.
  13. That's what a lot of us were saying in the Bryce draft then 3 QBs went in the top 4.
  14. I think this is the time for us to be stingy. They need Thielen a lot more than we need a 6th. I would hold out for a 4th
  15. I think when taking everything into consideration, you're correct. As to why? Plans within plans who knows.
  16. I'm in this boat also. We know Thielen is going to be productive and make clutch catches. Everyone else is hypothetical based on potential.
  17. Still crazy that TIL Thielen was the offensive maestro that told Bryce what he was looking at and now I’m like: because, it all makes sense now. Like we all know AT was THE VET. He is a mentor and locker room leader. But I had no idea he was also helping Bryce figure out defenses on the field in real-time. It makes me believe even less in Bryce, and that’s hard to do. I get it, I know vets help rookie QBs on the field, but more in passing. But to be the guy setting up the alignments and tell the QB what he’s looking at during plays? Smh. We shouldn’t have even entertained a second, let alone a third year of this experiment.
  18. He is the best receiver on the roster and it's not even close. You don't trade him for anything less than a 3rd. If the Vikings are thinking Super Bowl, they will trade that. This team doesn't sniff the postseason without Thielen.
  19. Well even if we are draft 10-15. There is a good chance a QB will fall to us in a QB rich draft.
  20. No. Adam is worth more to the offense than a 4th. In my mind, barring the future from discussion, this is playoff or bust time for this staff and this QB. Adam is a huge part of that push to get to the playoffs. If the Vikings want him, and are thinking Super Bowl, they will send a 2nd or 3rd for him. Or a 4th and a player. Otherwise, I don't send him for anything. Thielen is the glue that holds the offense together, and I'm not getting rid of him.
  21. Am I wrong for saying AT is the best wr on the roster currently? Why trade your best one away?
  22. I don't think its appropriate to comment on what she does in her free time.
