I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!

Allen was borderline unplayable in College. He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.

It's a step up in competition as well. The gap in athletic skill is narrowed from what was faced at the college level.

They threw him to the wolves. He needed to sit a year and rework his footwork. I wanted to sit at #9 and take him if he fell (he obviously didn't) - I didn't envision him being so fragile.

There are similarities between the two in terms of trying to develop a raw passer. Allen's best season in college was with 56% completion. But unfortunately for AR he was even more raw and has apparently been pretty full of himself thinking he already arrived. And also the coaches were too willing to use him as a runner. All in all another example of ultimately squandering talent. All too common in this league.

Remember that Khalil Mack was traded for 2 firsts and some change at the end of his rookie deal to the Bears. The Bears ultimately won the trade as Mack was a continuous PB/AP player and the Raiders squandered all the draft capital on players worth far less. It's dumb to turn down that kind of haul, but it's definitely not hard to completely squander.

I do also want to point out that people STILL believe in Justin Fields despite the unbelievable amount of evidence he is completely incapable of being more than a gimmick, run first, check down QB. It is flabbergasting the amount of chances some of these busts get.

He will never be able to make it as an NFL QB. Maybe if he played some special teams and could catch he could be a poor man's Taysom Hill but that is about the extent of his ceiling. More likely than not, he will probably be permanently out of the NFL in 3-4 years.

Josh Allen was not nearly as bad as AR-15. Josh wasn't the most accurate passer in college, but he wasn't nearly as scatter shot as Richardson. To make things worse, Anthony came out as a RSO. Really young, inexperienced AND major accuracy issues? Big red flags for me.

Now do Josh Allen. Just saying. They were similar prospects except that Allen was even more wildly inaccurate.

I don't mind him as a bottom of the roster player if we keep 6 OLBs. But, if we only keep 5: DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, & Princely Umanmielen are locks. That leaves DJ Johnson competing with Thomas Incoom for the final spot. Both play ST. Johnson may be a little better against the run, but Incoom has proven to be a much better pass rusher. And I think that should give Incoom the edge bc we need all the pass rush help we can get.

You guys are nuts. He can set an edge and plays the run well. We need that badly. He’s not a top tier starter but he can whoop a tight end, and that helps limit offensive schemes. He’s strong and pretty tenacious.

I expect a bigger season from XL than our rookie.

I knew AR-15 was a bust. Dude was crazy inaccurate in college. Big arms don't mean anything if you can't hit the broad side of a barn. Not surprised a jag QB like Daniel Jones beat him out.

I would have passed on AR 10 times out of 10. Not in the first round, ever.

Travis was a great father unlike the poo-head that was his. Like Tyson said, Travis had to carry water to his house until he was 8 years old. His dad just didn't care or provide for Travis or any of his kids or the wife for that matter. He could have easily done so, but he didn't. His dad owned a local WV bar and that was where you could find him. Travis grew up ultra poor and didn't have too. Travis did all he could for Tyson to make it. Big day for them and for the rare, they for sure earned it.

I 100% wanted AR15 over BY. *I also stated AR need at the very very least to sit a whole NFL season, I was 100% with that as well. colts named him starter before Panthers did with BY.. he needed a red shirt and who knows then with the right leadership.
