Got I miss Fox ball. We had no idea how good we had it.
-
Maybe. We can only speculate. But I say let the young wide receivers and tight ends sink or swim without question this season. Right now we just need someone that can deliver them passes beyond 10 yards more often than once or twice game.
-
That’s about the only throw little bit can make.

There actually has been quite a lot of criticism of Morgan. Him being Fitterer’s former best friend and there with him though many bad moves has been discussed extensively. It's just reached a point where more people now realize he is just a figurehead as was Fitterer and the Tepper's have been and still are pulling strings behind the scenes and heavily involved in major moves and decisions. So long as that exists it really doesn't matter who the GM is.

Dak will turn XL into a top receiver in that offense. That will be the worst thing for us.
-
Phil Snow is a damn good defensive coach.
-
“The first time he spoke to the Carolina Panthers, John Fox told his new team it simply was not tough enough to win in the NFL”. is echoing in my brain.
-
It's an unpopular opinion but I actually think Phil Snow was a damn good football coach.
-
No no no. Way too negative. Looks about like the structure in Rock Hill.

Canales got a long contract on purpose. It was in case Young didn't work out and they would have to reset at QB in year 3. He's totally going to be here for year 3 next year and probably year 4 most likely.
-
The team itself is very soft. Non-physical. It has slowly gotten worse since 20/21. As much as it pains me to say it, Rhule’s team was more physical than Reich’s or Canales’. I think it has gotten way worse since DC got here.
-
Seems like it would be cause for going balls to the wall. I mean, you're probably gonna lose anyway so go down swinging and try to give yourself a chance, right? If you play super conservatively with a bad team you're gonna get your ass kicked 9 times out of 10 unless the other team pulls a Falcons and just hands the game to you. The bigger the talent discrepancy the more aggressive you're forced to play. That's why I loved watching those '00s Boise State teams. They knew they didn't have the talent to compete with the big dogs just playing hat on a hat football so they'd go out there and just run video game poo and they did it with delusional confidence and it was just pure fun to watch. LOL

I would imagine Bryce is a guy that does well behind the scenes, possibly impresses in film study, etc. XL on the other hand....I am gonna guess he doesn't impress basically anywhere.
-
I think the odds of losing are so high, that Canales clearly plays not to lose if things even go remotely our way in a game.
-
I'm calling it now. Its end arounds and wr screens for Jimmy. You will be screaming, OH MY GOOD, THEY'VE KILLED JIMMY!
-
cranky started following Are the Panthers playing afraid?
-
They question if the Canales is coaching "scared". They wonder if he's afraid of messing up and they question why Tet has all the dropped balls (remind you of another rookie?) Just the first 4 minutes are on the panthers
-
Ten million smoke screens upcoming
-
The Falcons are better at folding than the saints. They will not be so obliging then next time. The saints are the saints and who knows who shows up. We could possibly split with them but I wouldn't count on it. If we lose to Miami then we are assured to lose one if not both to the saints. That will depend on if they are tanking for a qb i guess.

It's pretty impressive how ass they are when our GM was a great LB.

Official Week 4: Panthers at Patriots Gameday Thread
kungfoodude replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am pretty unimpressed by the 2025 draft holdovers. Beck, Allar, Nussmeier, etc. So far it looks heavy with Day 2 and 3 QB's early. Time will tell. I am less concerned about the QB at the moment. The team is too bad. This team needs talent and playing ability. Not ceiling, not RAS BS. Players that can become core guys. IDGAF if that is a QB or not. Just get players. -
Here's a good example of a 0.0 pass block from yesterday's games..

Do you see Canales ever giving this type of speech?
WarPanthers89 replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
I guess the point of this thread was to question if Canales or Bryce are actual leaders of men. Say what you want about Ron, but no one questioned his ability to hold a locker room full of football players accountable. It’s a highly underrated quality of a head coach and a QB. Bryce sounds like a child when he speaks and Canales is a rah rah overly positive young coach. When you have a leader running the team, you don’t see performances like we have. Look at what Wilks did to the team, we quickly formed an identity, became a much more physical team, and challenged people on game day. Even though the results were mixed you could tell what type of team we were, and see improvements. It does not take that long to do like people claim.
