Again, I get it from a fans perspective. I'm just looking at it from the Morgan/Canales perspective. If we end up with a top 3 pick looking like we currently look they're gone. If we end up with a top 10ish pick but showing some type of hope they might have a chance. These constant resets aren't working. If you fire this current crew while keeping them basically saddled to the Bryce experiment and the DC that you told them they were retaining them you didn't really even give it a chance.

Concerning Avg points per loss byPanthers HCs

Canales scripts the first offensive drive then it’s nothing but chaos after that. Also, how freaking long has this team struggled to get plays in to where they only have a few seconds to get the play off? It’s a dumpster fire everywhere you look and it’s hard to say how long it will take to turn this franchise around. -

I wonder what historically bad crews look like in comparison. -

So what you're saying is when we suck we really suck. -
These guys nail the basics on Bryce/Canales/Carolina
Mills replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
When Chris said: "If Mike Vrabel was brought here to coach this team and Canales was on the Patriots, what just happened to the Panthers would've happened to the Patriots". That's a sobering thought and brings the state of of our franchise and decision makers into perspective. If that's clear to everyone inside and outside of the building, then changes need to be made.... But you can't change ownership -
It already has been. You'd be nuking a crater.

Observer Young needed to be more than turnover fred

I mean I never let someone's opinion bother me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how I see it. So to each his own. -

Reich got so screwed over. Brand new staff and a rookie Bryce Young, yet got the shortest leash. -
Nuke the whole damn thing. Beyond recognition.

I can see a point where they start dumping contracts for draft picks. If that starts happening a purge is coming.

I really don’t get it. It’s football. Either you can or can’t. It’s that simple. But you’re right, it’s time to ignore the delusional ones. -
With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
kungfoodude replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's been a steady decline in roster talent from 2017 to 2024. I would argue it was a slight uptick in 2025 but we are talking about 2024 being a literal franchise worst roster. -

I think it tells the tale As do the Ws and Ls i hope i am wrong but Canales’ Mr Rogers persona is not working and neither are his play calls who knows, however, he came in as HC with no seeming control of Evero and knowing what Young is and how limiting he would be on the playbook No matter the reason, his team folds and once down by a TD, it is hopeless. If they get punched in the mouth, it is over it does not bode well -
There's the catch-22. We win a few meaningless games and end up in that 7-10 draft slot purgatory we seem to always be in. Yes, we get a good player, but just miss out on the elite ones. I know the staff is coaching for their jobs, but it seems to be a vicious cycle that keeps us where we are today.

Waldo replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is no fixing not good enough. He peaked in school and there were plenty of us yelling about it before the pick and shortly after. He isn't even good enough to be carried consistently. Just own it because it was always the truth. -

Admitting it has nothing to do with making it better. They still can make it worse even if they admit their past mistakes.
-
I think its hard to know who is good or not with bryce young at qb. a good qb brings up the play of those around them and a horrendous qb makes everyone suck.
-
It's both. It's all bad. Or mostly beyond a few players.
-
Fernando!

That's why I'd bench Bryce sooner rather than later. There are still several weeks until the trade deadline. There's plenty of time to get a good look at Dalton. If he's looking like ass after 2-3 games at that point I think you have to seriously shop around.

Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?
45catfan replied to Panthero's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
Safest bets as of now are: 1) Mateer, 2a)Mendoza 2b) Moore 3) Nussmeir 4) Leavitt I am leery as heck about Allar, Sellers, Beck and Klubnik. -
Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?
Jon Snow replied to Panthero's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
No more SC players. Sellers is another AR in the making. Projection alone is a dangerous way to select a pro qb. I will stick to the production on the field and then project that to the nfl. -
I'm the wrong guy to ask this since I'm an SC grad so I'd be overjoyed at Sellers......... but he's definitely not an NFL level passer right now. He's got NFL size, NFL arm strength, NFL elusiveness, NFL scrambling, but I would not call him a polished passer who can win from the pocket. But at least he has those NFL traits unlike some guy on this roster.
