  1. Past hour
  2. Elgton Jenkins just released from packers. He was a guard who was switched over to center last year and then got hurt after 9 games. I wonder if he’s worth considering for a replacement?
  3. Feels like day one is over or the initial signings have greatly slowed.
  4. I have a relative that had a bad concussion 10 years ago and he’s never been the same since. I can’t imagine 2 or 3.
  5. Does this also mean Pat Jones is cut?? I think that must happen along with Robinson, maybe more moves are needed.
  6. Another thing--when they show highlights, is there a rule that says 25% of them are against the Panthers?
  7. Yes. 4th highest pass rush pressure rate behind Anderson Jr, Bonnito and Parsons clears the impressive bar to me.
  8. been at work--gotta catch up. Tua to Atlanta because both QBs are lefties? Makes some sense if you have a blindside RT....Has this been discussed?
  9. Akayleb Evans CARDefensive Back#21 Panthers re-signed CB Akayleb Evans to a one-year contract. 26-year-old Evans mixes in sporadically on defense, but is primarily a core special teamer. Signing at this stage of the offseason suggests the Panthers like him enough that his 53-man roster spot should be secure heading into training camp.
  10. Robert Rochell CARCornerback#33 Panthers re-signed CB Robert Rochell to a one-year contract. Rochell is a special teams gunner the Panthers have decided to keep in the fold now rather than waiting until the second wave of free agency. He turns 28 next month.
  11. At least the Oweh contract makes me feel a little bit better about the Jaelan Phillips contact
  12. Cade Mays DETCenter#64 Lions agreed to terms with C Cade Mays, formerly of the Panthers, on a three-year, $25 million contract. A boost for Jahmyr Gibbs! Mays is a huge power-blocking 6-foot-6, 325-pound center and should help solidify a troubled interior line for the Lions. It allows them to leave Christian Mahogany and Tate Ratledge at guard and makes Juice Scruggs a depth piece.
  13. One of my long time customers is recovering from a major concussion last year. He's been in rehab for 8 months and is still not walking without assistance and will likely never fully recover. I understand the competitive nature, but I'd have to seriously consider retirement with that history of TBI's at his age. The possibility of needing someone to wipe your ass for the next 40 years isn't appealing when sitting on that level of wealth.
  14. I believe the data points to EDGE defenders hitting their prime right at Phillip’s age.
  15. Yeah, it's not even about football to me. He's QBing a division rival so I obviously hope he struggles but I don't want to see the guy wearing a bib drooling on himself the rest of his life. His family really should convince him to walk away. He should have serious generational wealth in the bank already.
  16. Didn't see it posted so sorry if this is a double up on this thread. SBMVP headed off to KC. Walker's deal is for three years and is worth up to $45 million with $28.7 million fully guaranteed, per The Insiders. https://www.nfl.com/news/chiefs-signing-ex-seahawks-rb-kenneth-walker-iii-mvp-of-super-bowl-lx
  17. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got Fields as back up. Problem is, he is going to wait it out to see if he can compete somewhere
  18. good for cade last time i'll tell this story he was originally a UGA recruit. when he came for his final visit, his dad was sitting down on a metal folding chair and accidentally chopped one of his fingers. But they're real country so he was just like "Well I got 9 more it's fine" and moved on with their lives. When Cade wanted to transfer to UT, UGA was initially going to block the transfer until his dad came by and was like "REMEMBER THAT FINGER I LOST?!" and UGA was like "okay fair."
  19. I doubt we get him but he's a 2 time pro bowler he should make more than Mays
  20. At least they brought in someone who could potentially start a game or 6 barring injury. We still have Dalton, for now. I can't fault at least trying to get better, even if it is Tua.
  21. Atlanta is going to be ass this year. Stefanski was a terrible hire. Matt Ryan and his zero front office experience might be worse. Everyone has given up on Bowles in Tampa- likely fired by midseason. It will be us and whatever Kellen Moore is cooking up down there.
  22. Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to sign free agent edge rusher Boye Mafe to a three-year contract worth $60 million ($20 million per season)
  23. I give it til week 3 and they will start chanting for Tua and then he will struggle and they will flip flop the rest of the season.
  24. I thought we'd have the worst qb room in the division but that trash in Atlanta will be tough to beat
