  1. Past hour
  2. underrated part of games against west coast teams is they tend to struggle with 1pm east coast games
  3. There are 24 with higher qb ratings (below league average) 23 with higher completion pct (below league avg) 20 with higher td % (below league avg) Hes above league avg in int % 22 with a higher qbr 27 with a higher yds per attempt (below league avg) Hes a bottom 3rd qb in pretty much everything
  4. we sent him back to his college town to play for a super bowl contender and got him away from the stench of the rhule era if anything he owes us 2 fumbles
  5. Just because you throw for a lot of yards doesn’t mean you’re a good quarterback. Passing yardage is kinda overrated. Name the 30 better quarterbacks
  6. Yea there’s a good reason I chose Moose as my avatar
  7. Yea I don’t necessarily think it makes that big of a difference. Guys typically always want to go off on their former team whether it was FA or whatever caused them to leave.
  8. I don't think being a podcaster has been good for Steve. There was a time where I thought he had learned from the immaturity of his playing days. The Shannon Sharpe interview he talked about going to therapy, battling depression, wishing he had been a better teammate, it seemed like he genuinely was a changed man and in a better place mentally. And then his behavorial care facility in Charlotte felt like nice closure on it all. But then he started doing more podcasts and stuff and all that kind of unraveled. Steve strikes me as a guy who absolutely reads the comments and has to say something back. It's part of what makes him entertaining as analyst, but I think working for the NFL Network helped him keep it all in check. Like his beef with Jeff Jeudy started off with disrespectful but in the end he kept it professional and apologized. He doesn't have to answer to anyone on his podcast so there's no filter when the old Smitty pops back out. I'm not a therapist but I'm not sure it's a healthy platform for a guy battling a lifelong chip on his shoulder.
  9. I feel like everyone is asking this. He had a no trade clause so he wanted to go to San Fran.
  10. Considering he is ranked near the bottom of the league even after this game. There are at least 30.
  11. You have to restock somehow. And you can’t pay everybody. By the time the WRs and QB are due for the big money you need to have a way figured that the OL can have some rookie contracts to offset that.
  12. Also completely unrelated. I don't know what it is, but I really don't like the old North Star scheme that the Wild used last night. The green and yellow scheme is probably my favorite color scheme in all of sports. (eg. Packers, Oakland A's). I know that North Stars look is a classic, but man its ugly. I don't know how they messed it up. I guess it's kinda like the Kings purple and yellow uniforms they wore ages ago. Maybe these colors just aren't meant for hockey lol. Anyways, here's wonderwall.
  13. If the Panthers were a better team this season, Rico would rightly be in the MVP conversation.
  14. We definately need to be drafting OL. None in the last 2 years. You should draft linemen every year on both sides of the ball.
  15. If history is any guide, whether it's a game or a season, Bryce turns it up a level towards the end. He's like Seabiscuit (an undersized racehorse, go figure); he just needs to be neck and neck with his opponent on the home stretch, and then he'll lead the team to victory. So if that's the kind of player he is, then he needs to over-perform now. Setting franchise records is cool and all, but I think we all know he's not the kind of QB who's going to have us up by 2 or 3 scores at any point during the game. So if he's a closer, and that's his identity, then in order for Bryce to be considered our QB of the future, an outcome like your first scenario is what we have to see now.
  16. To me it isn’t even about the playoffs. If things go well, maybe the playoffs happen but it isn’t the primary goal for me. Getting proof one way or the other on this QB is the biggest prize we could win. If we don’t get that, we have a bad offseason coming up.
  17. CMC is probably gonna have his revenge game against us. Guys typically get amped to play the team that traded them.
  18. Have not seen elsewhere but Rico called that screen https://x.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1991209107819311399?s=19
  19. Agree with everything. But, yeah I'll take the committee over the top draft pick. The top draft pick RB almost never pans out. It's early but Ashton Jeanty looks pedestrian. Bijan Robinson is good, but was he really worth that pick? Gibbs and Taylor are good but Gibbs is part of a tandem and has Taylor even been on a winning team? I'm just not sure its a formula that works particularly well. When the Eagles signed Saquon in FA they already knew that he was that guy at the NFL level.
  20. I mean it's been stated he is playing like a top 10 LT. I'd keep him there.
  21. I think Hunt has an out after next year so we need to draft a RG to learn under him.
  22. Today
  23. I cannot remember about Lewis but I am sure Hunt is here for 3 more years regardless because of the structure of the contract. Ill look it up my meeting
  24. Very much so, IMO it's going to be a must for Morgan to hit it big in the next 2 drafts. I think if he can fill the roster with good offensive linemen, we can afford to lose Lewis and Hunt down the line. Icky will be a cornerstone, we need to keep Mays and Christensen and find a new RT in the draft to replace Moton when his contract is up.
