Extrapolated across a 17 game season: 20.4 tds, 12.75 picks with 68 percent completion and 235 ypg. He’s also 26 years old, has minimal nfl tape and this is a 4 game sample. These are the stats you’re fawning over? They’re ironically Bryce-like. Guess the ypg is the big one (Bryce is like 170-180 ypg). In our game, Jaycee fell down twice. On the long touchdown, was a pretty clear push but yea poo happens. I admittedly have not watched his other three starts so look forward from insight from those who have. I seriously doubt most in any of these threads are tracking the 2-10 saints in their free time. Are we now celebrating the mediocrity of Saints second rounders?

Those TDs passes you saw Sunday is what I think you will see bryce at his best. Those touch passes he can lob to receivers over the defenders heads. Long as receivers can get significant separation and bryce does overthrow those passes which we seem him do a lot. He is never gonna be a guy that can throw a laser into a receivers chest with a defender draped on him downfield unless its short pass or within a couple feet from the endzone.

If teams play us honestly and take that deep stuff away we may be able to operate good enough underneath to counter that. It is about time we started trying to force them to respect it. But I think people should enjoy the win for two weeks because what’s in front of us doesn’t scream playoffs to me. It would be shocking if we swept TB. They aren’t Atlanta. And even if we sweep there can be no let down. I saw the stat of our record coming off a loss. Pretty good. What would it be coming off a win lol? Without looking, it has to at least be pretty upside down (I count it to be 2-4).

Wins and losses are a team effort. The team his rookie season just wasn't good, and there were a load of things going in behind the scenes that made things even worse. The past two seasons have shown better results. And again, the whole "in spite of Bryce" argument is just silly.

This is what people are not realizing with giving this dwarf QB a franchise deal. When teams shell out that kind of cash for a QB you can't spend 150+milllion dollar line to protect his physical short comings. Tepper is a moron when it comes to football apparently as we all can see by this point. I believe DM will unfortunately and stupidly pick up his 5th yr option. Season with BY will be a rinse and repeat cycle consisting of below average QB play through and through. Anyone who doesn't believe BY is not a below average QB in the NFL at this point literally knows nothing about football as a sport. Dude is not fooling me, he's shown me enough. For people clamoring for Sam Howell please just STFU already. You are obviously just UNC nut huggers because if you think BY turnover problems are bad Howells were even worse. We have also spent damn near every available resource we have to help him succeed and this is the result. It's not sustainable to keep a 100m offensive line and spend top picks over and over on offensive players, and RB contracts. When some of those pieces start falling away, we'll start seeing regression.
