  2. Highlights show the successes.
  3. If we do another season where we revert to sucking, I wouldn't be surprised where we get a scenario where we get an Andrew Luck situation where Archie Manning decides to stay one more season. But hey it landed us Cam Newton.
  4. You know watching his tape i just noticed he is good at catching underthrown balls. Might be why they liked him so much.
  5. RBs are easy to find. Not the least bit worried. I like this King kid tho. His throwing motion is weird to me but he's an athlete. Hope he gets lots of run in the preseason and we're not watching THE will grier mopping up.
  6. I love the linemen. Intrigued by the idea of Brazzell but a little skeptical No opinion of the others
  7. I'll say the same thing this year that I said last year, wins and losses aren't important. The only important thing is coming to a decision on Bryce one way or the other. If he looks amazing but we find ways to lose, who cares we lost, we have our QB of the future. If he looks terrible but we find ways to win, who cares that we won, we have to replace him. And that's not me saying I don't want to see us win next year, just saying that wins/losses are secondary and far less important this season than coming to a 100% conclusion on what Bryce is for us. Having said that, the only way I'll be okay with giving him an extension instead of replacing him is if he is a borderline MVP candidate and at minimum, an unquestioned Top 10 QB in the league next year. Even just a season of slight improvement won't be enough for me, that's still not good enough to warrant a big extension, he has the team around him, he needs to show why he was the #1 overall pick, if not, good bye.
  8. https://www.panthers.com/news/nfl-announces-2026-offseason-dates-panthers-to-begin-april-20-otas-minicamp I don’t see anything there until the end of May. I was hoping we’d get a look at them the next day or two.
  9. We don’t know these players will succeed so I am not counting chickens but it was crazy how we met just about every pick at the intersection of needs and BPA.
  10. And so do others but we insist on putting Etienne back there for some reason
  11. I'm am in no way gonna act like this team can't go backwards next year. Fans of this team should be smarter than that by now. I'm also not gonna act like last year was some breakout season, we caught a lot of lucky breaks and still didnt even finish the season with a winning record and we also needed help just to make the playoffs. Thats not huge steps to me but still improvement from the last 7 seasons. I'm not gonna brag about being the best of the worst because thats what our division was. The team does have the tools to be significantly better than last year they just have to put in the work and desire. And of course a lot of that is gonna come down to bryce as we all know. Thats it.
  12. Our strength of schedule is actually lower than than last year when comparing win pct of opponents in 2025
  13. This is way too loaded to run it back in '27 with Bryce if we are a top 10 pick next April.
  14. Running backs aren't as important but they were damn sure important for us in saving our season last year.
  15. I feel like they targeted needs in a good way. Canales and Morgan specifically stated afterwards they wanted to bolster the trenches and get a deep threat
  16. Yeah, and they don't have us drafting a QB. If Bryce lands us in the top 10 of the next draft, that pick need to be his replacement.
  17. I mean, you've seen it two offseasons and drafts You can see it in the value ratings more in this draft than the last one. We had more to work with, but you could see the setup of this draft by the moves in free agency as clear as day also. No, BPA is not a myth.
  18. Loosely related thoughts .. I really do feel for Icky but if he had been healthy no way we take Freeling. I think the big extension he was in line for and was getting, would have been an overpay. So in a way this might be a break. Depending on Freeling working out. If I were offered an even money bet on whether he returns to form or is a shadow of what he was, I am going with shadow. I just wouldn’t count on him for anything if it was going to cost market value. G, RT, whatever. To me, he needs to sign an incentive laden short term deal that doesn’t leave us on the hook if he can’t cut it. Go from there. He caught a horrible bad break but at least got 17.5 mil as a consolation prize. Or 16.5 or whatever it is.
  19. Agree. Is Lemon/Tet/Coker that much better than Coker/Tet/Brazzell because I had trouble covering the LT position. The draft just fell wrong. No way can we ignore the tackle position.
  20. Even if Icky hadn’t gotten injured, I still prefer taking Freeling in the first. Freeling just looks like a natural LT, and I’ve always wanted to move Icky to RT or guard.
