Nobody would trade a second round pick for him. Maybe a 3rd at most. He’s been a very consistent player for us and he has more value here than what we could trade for him. Brooks may be special but he has to stay on the field.

I doubt we'd be able to, but RB is a pretty tricky spot for us. We're not in position to invest highly, but it would be smart to keep grabbing a guy late to see who sticks. Never know who finds the Kyren/Chase B/Bucky type. - Chuba played in 15 games last season and only accounted for 500ish yards. Brooks is coming off two major injuries. And if we're be honest, Etienne looked like a poor man's Sean Tucker. AJ Dillon is likely washed.

I guess I misunderstood your point. My point is that this this team cannot afford to pass up taking a starting tackle just because he doesn't need to start this season. I still contend that there is a 50% chance he would end up starting by midseason if not outright winning the job in camp.

Chubba roster spot is almost guaranteed on this team IMO.....our RB room sans Dowdle at this point is bottom of the league in talent. DM doing his due diligence in wanting to possible upgrade a position of weakness in this years draft. Emmet Johnson behind our Online would be exciting, but wouldn't be willing to spend a 2nd to get him. Of goes 3 maybe even 4th you jump all over the value. We'd be all in on a guy trying to come back from back to back ACLs both returning to form ("form" that's not yet proven at the NFL level) and staying healthy for the first time in years. We are doomed to watch this experiment play out at least one more season. I'm not sure Tepper can take any regression from last season as I think that will be the floor for this coaching staff. I would like to think the expectation is double digit wins this season. But I'm not seeing it as things stand right now. There's a lot at stake for quite a few individuals on the team this season. I'm predicting Teppers patience will be severely tested.

The league doesn't need to hate when the team is this bad. And fug all the season ticket holders who sold their tickets to some Randolph County trailer park full of Boston fans.
