  1. Past hour
  2. I love how he just performs when his number is called I'll take it!
  3. The swings this board is wiling to make on a weekly or couple weeks basis is pretty entertaining….such huge 180 degree swings on random folks You can pretty much look ahead and spot where the next ones will fall. Board going to be wild after the GB game. Wild after the Rams game. Probably wild after week 18 pending the Bucs got anything to play for.
  4. The upcoming draft will determine whether or not he learned anything from 2024.
  5. let him cook fixed OL, fixed DL let him continue to cook
  6. Ehh I would pump the brakes probably need another year or two to see what he's really done for this team. Last year's draft was absolutely awful. This past one looks ok so far it really will come down to Scourton and Princely and how they develop into pass rushers. T-Mac looks like a hit.
  7. 2024 looks pretty bad, but it’s still early. We still don’t know what Wallace, Sanders, and XL are going to be. Brooks may come back and surprise us, but that is a long shot. 2 years off football kills most careers.
  8. More reason to play the young guys. He didn't have a great camp, but plays well in the game. Jimmy Horn couldn't get a jersey the first few weeks...makes plays now that he's on the field. Let the rookies eat.
  9. Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
  10. He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
  11. I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off. I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick. XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list. Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well. Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist. The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
  12. He wasn't. I seem to remember never knowing which Jake you would get on Sunday. He could throw 2 1st quarter INT's or he might throw 2 bomb TD's to SS. There was a reason they called us the cardiac cats and it wasn't because we were laying 50 burgers on people. If you put prime Cam on those teams, it would have been multiple superbowls.
  13. We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way. They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee. Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing. Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it. I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now. Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
  14. This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
  15. I'm one of the bigger Bryce defenders on this board, but this is a natural consequence of being on a terrible team. While I do think it's to his credit that he doesn't freak out in those moments, It sure would be nice to be playing with a lead more often so he doesn't have quite as many opportunities to do this.
  16. If the team is to emerge from the cellar in our very diminished division compared to a decade ago we need to drastically improve our putrid record on the road. That's the true test from here on out.
  17. He put the football where it needed to be. I’m good with that
  18. There can be multiple truths. We can enjoy the win but also acknowledge the elephant in the room. Just the nature of being a Carolina Panthers fan.
  19. Justin Fields put up 300 because his team was being blown out and they had to throw the ball most of the game. They still lost and Fields is still terrible.
  20. Hurricane Dan is starting to show his work! He’s paid his dues as a scout and assistant GM, this wasn’t some ‘token’ hire. He’ll be in the likes of Lynch as former players who became good GMs. I was always salty about letting Beane walk to Buffalo but I think we’ve finally found ‘our guy’ the work he’s done on the offensive and defensive lines respectively along with two draft classes that are contributing has been nothing short of master class in a team decimated of talent due to Fitterer and Tepper. The only thing that can stop Morgan’s ascend as a top tier GM is David and Nicole Tepper who by all outside accounts seem to have ‘gotten it’ We got ourselves a GM
  21. Today
  22. ...are there really people pointing out that the team is almost always playing from behind because of Bryce and not because the team fielded an historically bad defense? 12 starts with that, and another 16 starts with the high school poo show that was the Frank Reich year? And that's not even mentioning the supporting cast during Reich's season.
