I thought Canales admitted that T-mac ran the wrong route and Bryce wasn't throwing it away but trying to throw to the back pylon. Agree Bryce has to see that safety. XL could have bailed him out but sloppy route and not attacking the ball didn't give him a chance. Also, with how big and strong he is he seems to get pushed around. I don't care about garbage time int or 4th down prayers.

Who was hell bent on forcing the new staff onto his Young mistake which also was the pivot point of the 23 staff implosion, even if it was poorly conceived. It was always both or one being an extension of the other.

I would say one of my biggest problems is lack of attempts at drafting qb's in the mid to late rounds all the way back to since we drafted Cam. Just complacent with the position from a developmental side for some reason. Between the Cam and Bryce drafts pretty sure our only attempts were Grier and Corral lol.

There's zero reason to bench Bryce Young again. If he's not going to be the answer to help us win games then he needs to be part of the reason why we lose enough to secure a high enough draft pick to get the QB who can.

Meh the Texans struck gold with Stroud and then showed their normal standards. I couldn't belive that GM did good but he is blowing it now. I would bet he will flourish elsewhere when he walks. Caleb was always going to take time with his mental maturity but at least he has the coaching now. I would take anyone but Richardson over Young in a heartbeat.

Finding a QB is very hard. Finding a QB for the Tepper's Panthers is impossible.

With the way Canales treated the offseason this game was probably closer to week 2 of preseason lol. Remember the starters going out for 6 snaps for like negative 3 yards or some horrible stat and DC was apparently satisfied with that and put in the 2nd string? Feels like that performance carried directly over into the real week 1 game

It was Tepper, Morgan and the search committee. They hired Morgan's friend like Fritz hired his friend in Morgan. I don't get your angle at all. No body would take the job when Tepper tied both jobs to Young and ended up with who would which was first Morgan and then DC.

Someone will take. But it will be another no name that can't get a job with another team.

I think the playbook is limited because of Bryce. You saw the playbook open more with Dalton last year and will see it again when Bryce gets benched

I would be shocked if anyone with options would take the job. There will always be someone that wants a shot at having 1 of only 32 jobs in the world. That's how the Raiders were able to to keep selling people on their coaching job in the insane Al Davis days towards the end.

….and only Jayden Daniel’s and Purdy look they will be something. Maybe JJ McCarthy and Penix. Stroud seems to be on a extended downward trajectory. The Panthers chose poorly picking Bryce, but did they ever have a chance given our hypothetical top options were Bryce, CJ, Richardson, and Caleb the following year? I doubt we would have chosen Jayden with the #1 pick. In hindsight, our best option was sticking with Baker.

I am with you… 1000 percent i hoped for the best this year though I knew better..,for the team and mostly for the fans he promptly poo on that and quickly. He doesn't really have the frame to add weight though. He is what he is and that's a 5-10/5-11 QB that weighs somewhere between 175-185.
