We're going to learn a lot about Bryce over the next couple, and hopefully more, games. He's as much in control of his destiny as the team itself is. Everything from here on out is the fourth quarter of the game for him. Everything is a game winning drive potential. If he makes it, there's going to be a lot in store for him. If he doesn't, then we and he are all waiting for the offseason to hear the other shoe drop.

It's going to be a good one. Hoping we take the win. It'll be close, I'm thinking, though.

Going to be a test for sure. Sometimes west coast teams have difficulty traveling cross-country for a 1pm (10am their time) kickoff. Not so for Seattle. They've beaten the Steelers, Jags, Titans and Falcons on the road at 1pm. 4-0. Steelers and Falcons games were blowout wins. Hopefully it means they are due for some post-holiday jet lag sluggishness.

Unfortunately it's the best run defense in the league stuffing our run game and making Bryce beat us weather. That being said this is the 4th game the Panthers have played that I said they had no chance to win going in....

Everything you said is true BUT This is a 1pm East Coast game for a team coming from the West Coast. That always causes some issues (see: Rams) Hopefully that gives us somewhat of an edge. Not to mention how packed this stadium should be (hopefully Panthers fans still show out despite the cold, wet weather).

This is such a horrible matchup for us In order for Sam to make a stupid mistakes he needs to be pressured which is something we struggle to generate. JSN in slot with CSW is free eats Then on the flip side their D is 2nd in EPA/play. Their corners are physical with length which will cause issues I look forward to watching this one because ultimately next week is all that matters but this one is a tough one

his deep throw rate is only higher than one starter. Goff. Whole thread on it. and as I said, this same arguement was debunked last year when folks made it using PFF. Bryce factually barely throws downfield. Attempts of an act isn’t subjective. Nor how he measures vs his peers. It’s a reality. Bryce doesn’t throw downfield and never has really. PFF just gives him a good grades on the rare act. And most of the PFF arguments used are stats that aren’t even deep ball grades (the big throw nonsense which isn’t deep balls) and grades that rely on subjective incompletions . And anyone that has been watching knows Canales is managing the hell out of Bryce’s throws and he isn’t a deep ball thrower. And that’s coaching. For a player who isn’t very good at something….finding advantageous scenarios to attempt something the QB isn’t great at. And the last 3 weeks it worked out well. Law of averages and all means just some windows work out well. As Canales works up so many scenarios where the deep play just isn’t something that would be defended for a QB that isn’t very suited for it

He is going where he will be a guaranteed starter. Maybe Miami or Arizona.
