There's going to be a run on defense tonight. I think it starts with CB and then LB. That would push DT's and maybe TE into our pick window unless Dan trades up.

If you have conviction on a QB, even if you think you can do that, it wouldn't be smart, you just have to take him. If they traded back it would have been a clear signal to the league what they were doing it for, as it wasn't a secret that they liked him. Doing that then signals to the Cardinals, Jets, or whoever else that they need to trade up ahead of them to get him.

Yeah, the blue blood programs can't horde four and five star guys on their third string anymore but they still have plenty if talent.
