    I mean, let the record show.....I have long been on the AT rant before the Renfrow project was even a possibility. I have been on the big 3 for Bryce since the day he was drafted. slot, TE, and rec RB. I still contend we are building an O for someone that isn't BY....so what's the point. Pick a direction. The Carolina No Man's Land thing is just my ultimat pet peeve. and while I 100% am ALL IN on my guys comeback, I am on record Renfrow doesn't fit what a BY O needs either. He is just a low ceiling chain mover. BY needs a playmaker at slot more so than any other WR position.

    Ooof for the loss on that one. I only saw a few and I also remember how bad he was throwing on the run as a rookie.... oof the first time they made the playoffs with him he missed a two yard swing pass on fourth down with the game on the line by 10 yards because he was moving.

    I lived in Colorado at the time and virtually all the Wyoming games were locally televised. I'd bet money that I watched more Josh Allen college games than anyone else on this board.

    Yeah, 100%. We SHOULDN'T be in the position where he is getting this volume. The hope is with Coker/XL having a year of development and TMac coming in, that should spread things around and lessen that raw need. In theory....

    Lol had to laugh at that although some truth to that I very much doubt you have watched anything of him at Wyoming.... lol. And almost all of those were him throwing in the run. Which he has improved on probably 2000% at the NFL level lol.

    Mike Davis tells a story about during his time with Carolina under Matt Rhule how in hindsight he was realizing that they were doing nonsense like live goal line drills in season the very first day CMC came back from injury and what happened as a result... Once I finish up Raw Room I'll get a summary for Processing Blue put together!

    AT is still a solid possession receiver. He just shouldn't be a starter at this point in his career. The fact that we had to have him as our #1 option wasn't an indictment of him, it was an indictment of our front office and overall receiver room. CRA just jumping the gun and already getting mad about Thielen eating into Renfrow's snap count. LOL

    Yeah, trades this time of the year are largely about trading guys at the bottom of your roster in units of depth for late round picks or players in a similar situation on another roster. Basically just skipping the waiver wire and insuring you're securing one of the better guys about to hit the trash heap.

    Brother, on players with over 40 targets in 2024 he had the highest catch percentage on the team. He was 2nd highest in 2023(behind only Hubbard). Yes he is slow as dirt but they are targeting him because he actually does catch the ball. That is literally why he beats out other players here. He is dependable.

    I have literally said the exact same thing about BY and this O from day 1. The slot WR is the key spot in a BY O and you need big play out of it. And Hunter Renfrow doesn't check that box either for me, Renfrow's ceiling is also too low given what a BY O needs to be. Renfrow 100% can be a roleplayer off the bench. Which is what AT should be. This is the 3rd season of this BY experience. Part of why it is still a unknown mess is the team isn't built right for the style QB they have rostered IMO. Round peg, square hole, random parts. Tough to win in the NFL that way. *please also note, I defend XL (that no good dirty Gamecock) as much as anyone on this board.

    This game has me wondering what Tepper would do if the Steelers move on from Tomlin at the end of the season. Like if we show progress but don't sniff the playoffs, would Tepeer go hard after Tomlin?

    The issue has little to do with politics. It's about his value and his cost. Those aren't logical to sell at a value that makes any sense at all for us. Why trade a valuable contributor for a 7th or conditional 6th at best? I suppose if you get a mail mary idiot like the Cowboys again, maybe that should be in consideration.
