  1. Past hour
  2. It's so bizarre. It is the immediate go to for some people. They act like this is the prime Cam years when people were attacking him despite changing our culture making us relevant across the league and more often than not keeping us competitive. This is not that. This has not been that for a long time. And Bryce Young is at this point in time a downgrade to every QB we have started since Cam. But the fans are the problem!
  3. That entire article you posted was about the route being very difficult to throw and receivers running the route should count on getting hit. Let's me put it another way. No matter how good the throw is there is a very good chance that player is taking a hit. QB knows it. Receiver knows it. Safety knows it. I guess it must also be Tom Brady's greatest flaw because those seam routes to Grok took a heavy toll getting Grok lit up often. I wish we had a Grok so Bryce could throw more of those seam hospital balls.
  4. What are you talking about? Most people here have been begging for a methodical rebuild for years now. The massive trade up for Bryce badly hurt our ability to do that and Bryce being a bust puts us WAY behind the eight ball.
  5. PJ would be perfect. Fun to watch, athletic, has a big arm.....and wont ruin our draft position. lol
  6. Spending a single top 10 pick is fine. Spending two top 10 picks, DJ Moore and two 2nds cannot ever happen again.
  7. Evero had me fouled about being one of best upcoming DCs. Im giving him until week 6 to show why he should last. If not for the LONG-TIME coverage skills of a healthy horn and MJ, its ultra scary to think they could be worst than giving up the most points in NFL history.
  8. do you have inside info on this or just because we are terrible
  9. If I'm Dan Morgan I stick with the plan because one step back doesn't erase all the progress that Bryce made last season. That was a total team loss and Bryce shoulders most of the blame because he's the QB and people are emotional. The Huddle would blame a one legged man for losing a kicking contest. Fans don't want to build a team. They want one already built and winning from the jump. After the crime scene of Bryce's first year Tepper cleaned house and got his offensive coach who has a history of building QB's. Dave had the nuts to bench a #1 overall QB in order to help him. I agreed at the time that if the first 2 games of last year were what Bryce is, then drafting him will go down as the worst in NFL history. Everyone is doing exactly what they did last year when Bryce was benched. Freak out. Calls to cut him. Sky is falling. But when Bryce started playing better, and some games at a very high level, people started chopping up that plateful of crow. Then the whole team craps the bed in the first game of the year and all those same people double down. Dave and the coaching staff had a plan to reset him and bring him back. They did. He not only played better but played a lot better. I've always said that as long as Bryce is making progress and getting better, you don't pull the plug. Think of it like a stock. It's not going up in a straight line. Some of ya'll bring shame to our motto. Dan, Bryce and the rest of the team need to do what they've been doing all of last year. Building, getting better. If I was Dan, I'd keep pounding.
  10. I expect Young to play better and the team to play better. Week one is something I refuse to give much weight to, going back to when we had 4 preseason games. All kinds of unpredictable outcomes happen week one. Seen it too many times to discount that. Since the 17 game schedule, I don’t pay much mind to results and how the units look until week 3. The units just need time to get the teamwork and timing together under real conditions. Not a series at 90% in preseason. That won’t do it. And it is hard to get around it. But Frank is right when he points to the difference in how the offense looks with an NFL level arm behind center. Seattle in 2023, Vegas in 2024, were just liberating for the passing game. This Bryce ball is no fun to watch unless he is having a day where everything is clicking. Which I think we saw one time. Out of 29. Meh.
  11. Doesn't help that Coen beat up on Evero's defense pretty good last season both times. Looks (and sounds, according to TLaw) like he has the scheme figured out.
  12. Yeah, it’s not complicated. is a seam route a hospital ball? No. can a seam route be a hospital ball ? Yes. if you are throwing seam routes do you need to make sure you don’t hang your TE/WR out to dry? Yes. Because of injury. as a former NFL QB explained….Bryce was late with the throw (common issue with Bryce) and threw it too far up field. So a seam route became a hospital ball. result? An incompletion that got his WR banged up honestly have no clue what Bryce defenders are doing at this point. I’m out on talking about all his bad throws from Sunday.
  13. I do not his healing or how the surgery went. Just 3 weeks for a grown man with all sorts of "juice" in his system, I just know toughness is not of strength of his....... I knew that when a safety pancaked him years ago.... I do think back to Chris Sims speen game and he finished it somehow. Went to the hospital and if he came a couple hours laters, he would be rip. Im just different about injuries and too old school about it. Still 4 full weeks for this, something else must have happened. I've been taking my pops to visits and they are scared to death about infections, Icky could have easily got one. DJ had issues in rehab last year.
  14. Horn over Moore. Go a head and bench XL to let him work on himself or give the team a reason to trade him at the end of the year. Moore is a coaches pet and nothing more.
  15. Today
  16. He wants Clemson players to be coddled. Dont read any deeper in to it.
  17. Told you they should have drafted him, I was plenty ready in the 4th!!! Im no fan either, just.....well this team would truly have a little more hope with sanders on the roster. Just a flyer 4th and panther may are the one of the worst drafting late round teams....
  18. Its says Questionable. You really that bothered by appendicitis?
  19. So Icky is going ANOTHER week?? I need to logout before I say some ish.....
  20. I honestly think the Jags had a upper hand due to Dave being the OC of TB 2 years ago and going to rival sparked TB to give insight into Daves play call sheet or/and playbook. Jags were prepared too well and seemed to be in the Panthers huddle for around 80% of the plays. Props to them, they are the better team.
  21. Why do you keep lying about this? You keep repeating this for some insane reason when it's so easy to prove it's not true. I listed games off the top of the head where he played well when you said this in another thread. Week 16 against the Cards 36-30 OT win. Threw 3 TD's Week 12 against KC 30-27 loss but Bryce went 24 of 35 for 263 yrds. It was Mahomes magic that got us. Week 10 against the Bucs 298 yards in a close game with a passing TD and a running TD. We even had those flashes of what he could be in 2023 against the Packers, the 95-yard game winning drive vs the Falcons, or how he outplayed CJ Shroud with the win over the Texans.
  22. I would start scouting QBs for next years draft really close. And I would try to trade for Jameis Winston as the stop gap. It wouldn’t be pretty, but it sure would be entertaining. As a bonus, our young WRs and TEs would thrive.
