Given morgans/panthers draft history it would be incredibly rare to draft someone that high that we havent had any contact with. Yes, but if he's BPA on the board at #19 then that doesn't matter. We can't contact every possible prospect in our range. Heck, a few guys we contacted will be LONG gone before #19, but they did it any way. Again, Sadiq is my only hard NO with our first round pick. Anyone else in that range I will be cool with, even DL.

McShay on his pod is now saying he is hearing teams are being coy about Ty Simpson and at least 3 teams really like him. Cards, Jets, Rams and they may have to move up to get him later in the first. Rams could get an impact player at 13 to help this year but this is their window so they may want to move up from 61 to get Staffords replacement and have him on the bench for a year to restart another window. And we know rams dont give a fug about future picks. 19 for 61, 2027 1rst and something else. Again, if we draft Sadiq over KC 'CuZ ThAt RAS Is FiRe!' Morgan and company are bigger morons than I thought. Some folks are mocking Tampa taking Sadiq, they may have to save us from ourselves.

Their power play was pretty damn good against TB. Look, the Habs only had 5 SOG thru 2 periods, so it's not like TB rolled over and played dead. But TB has one of best PKs in the league... mostly because they've gotten a lot of practice being the most penalized team in the league.

I'm not opposed to a WR. Everyone has pretty much just assumed that we have a surefire star with Jalen Coker after a few good plays/games throughout his career. I, for one, actually agree that Jalen Coker is going to be a star, but I'm also old enough to remember Keary Colbert and Kelvin Benjamin. I don't oppose stacking the WR room until we build out a roster of proven, reliable pass-catchers for whomever the QB of this team is in 2027.
