  1. Past hour
  2. Sure, you have to make up for it elsewhere… #2 D paired with the #2 rush attack (paired with an essentially cheat short yardage play). We dumped our resources into having a really good passing attack presently that in theory should be making up for the areas that would take an hit in the build. Which is another reason so much is Bryce centric. What in theory should be the biggest strength is the weakest link.
  3. And since week 9 Bryce Young is 8th in EPA+CPOE composite Like I said he’s been playing like a top 10 QB and I’ll go with the stats that actually matter versus the same 4-5 “expert” huddlers that have been exposed countless times
  4. Actually I can Let’s take the 2022 Vikings for example they were 8th in PPG and 7th in YPG but their offensive EPA was 18th and they got bounced immediately in the playoffs Or how about our defense in 2023… We were 4th in yards allowed but 26th in defensive EPA Since the GB game when Coker got his snap count up Our offense is actually 13th in EPA from weeks 11-16 they’re 10th Our defense on the other hand is atrocious
  5. Said it before the first game, when we learned of Coker's injury. The QBs will be playing with a group of receivers where they've only completed a pass to one of them ever - Legette. That is not a good place to be, especially when the other receivers included two rookies, Tremayne and Renfrow who hasn't played football in 2 years. Throw in a second year TE and a rookie TE. I mean I love Tremble, but if he's your vet receiving TE you're not in a very good place.
  6. Derrick Brown is one of the most dominant defensive linemen in the NFL right now. The Pro Bowl needs some adjustments.
  7. So you can win with a below average passing attack. And if you want to get into weeds of things Bryce is actually asked to do way more in terms of passing concepts, changing plays at the line of scrimmage, going through progression, the eagles play the most simplified passing offense in the NFL cause of Hurts limitations.
  8. Never personally torn a bicep, but everything I know about that injury points to him not returning this season.
  9. XL should have been demoted to 3rd or 4th WR way earlier than he was. Even before Coker was available, XL was such a detriment to the office more often than not.
  10. . We’re paying him big money. We are in a position to win the division for the first time in 8 years. If he is ready he is an upgrade and our depth can go back to being depth. It really comes down to how he feels and what the medical opinions are. And then you proceed. If he isn’t ready, absolutely don’t put him out there but to assume he will be Brooks, you should have a good basis for it which I doubt you know and know I don’t. Also if he is Brooks, Brooks’ repair was likely gonna fail regardless and we found out in time to react, so now we have Rico. If Hunt is not going to heal, let’s find out sooner rather than later.
  11. The only reason that weak pass attack is okay….is the dominant performance on the ground the QB is also working in. Can’t just gloss over that….which made them a top 10 O in yards and scoring. we are bottom 3rd in the NFL. Again.
  12. Maybe the simple answer is it takes time for rookies to get up to speed in the NFL. That's pretty much all Canale and Young had to work with early- unless you want to count Legette as a deep threat. Thielen was gone and Cooker was on IR. I think the offense is improving simply with playing time for the rookies and time for Young, TMac and Cooker to get used to one another.
  13. The 2024 class are no longer rookies. You cannot compare them as last years class are no longer rookies. If you're going to compare classes you have to measure their 1st year's production.
  14. Because passing yards is such an irrelevant stat to use but it’s to be expected from the few usual suspects on this board Eagles 29th in passing yards but they were: 6th in offensive EPA 3rd in defensive EPA And Jalen Hurts was 5th in EPA+CPOE composite
  15. Looks at how many starting offensive line combinations we've had this season, and thinks y'all are over thinking poo.
  16. Hurt was a piece of dominant ground attack and that yielded results. If Hurts didn’t have that component to offset what he lacks as a passer, Hurts would be where all the other Bama QBs end up…..not playing.
  17. To be fair that’s on Bryce more than anything. If he knows that’s happening get that foot out of there pre-snap
  18. I think that’s the point you’re missing. We have a young nucleus that can step into many roles and perform. Which is what you said we lacked for years once we lost our vets. Now we can look for impact players through free agency and draft and focus on the more important aspects that make us a good ball team. We are fighting for a division title without that. So this off season is really the one that is the biggest for us. If we hit on 2 or 3 impact guys. This is a brand new and improved ball team. lets not act like the rookies and young talent we’ve got, isn’t going to be big in helping us get to the next level. The best teams have talent through the whole 53 and even the practice squad.
  19. And imo that’s why we saw Bryce revert back to bad Bryce to start 2025 He ended 2024 looking really good BUT then to start 2025 he had a whole new WR group TMac (rookie), Tremayne, Renfrow saw a lot of snaps Legette is Legette. Even David Moore getting hurt honestly hurt Bryce So it took awhile for BY and TMac to build chemistry and then Coker coming back has made a huge difference as well
  20. Today
  21. This is the optimistic view that I'm trying to have. I think the fact he needs to throw with anticipation and in specific ways means he really needs to trust his receivers and work well with them. He's clearly got chemistry with TMac and Coker. He also had it with AT. I don't think he trusts XL at all, for good reason, lol
  22. He was on the 50 yard line when he throws it. It lands right in the end zone. The pass went 50 yards in the air. I get it counted for 40 since he was about 10 yards back but he still threw it 50 and it wasn’t a Hail Mary launch pass. It landed in a perfect spot. That’s half a football field. Arm strength isn’t elite but it really isn’t a weakness. People are use to Cam’s cannon plus they see Bryce’s size and just assume.
  23. Bryce Young has been a top 10 QB since the GB game when Coker was back in game shape When things around him become more consistent so will he
