  2. I still think Hubbard is about as average of a starter as it gets at RB, which isn't necessarily a bad thing especially for his draft position, but he's not a guy that teams will ever gameplan for. Every other player on that list was at least at times. I don't like investing a ton in the position but I would still try to keep upgrading. Maybe not next offseason as we already have Chuba locked up and will hopefully get to see what if anything Brooks can offer, but the year after that I'd start looking again for a potential game changer at RB. Not expecting to find one immediately but take some shots on day 3 or in FA. As for our career rushing leaders, yeah it's really not great overall even with the franchise being "only" 30 years old. Stewart and Williams both dealt with injuries AND having to deal with each other (and eventually Cam) taking carries for several years, otherwise could've seen either of them surpassing 10k. McCaffrey wasn't here all that long, was hurt a lot, and his receiving usage took away from rushing yards. Cam's numbers are pretty damn high for a QB whose career was ended pretty early due to injuries.
  3. one thing that was interesting was how they were using Tepper. They had Eric Eager doing analytics on mocks he was running to see who might be available later and then he was relaying to them the odds of so and so being there later and then they would look at Tepper and ask wat he thinks of those odds and even then it was kind of "we're already making up our mind about this, but are you in the boat with us?" so any involvement tepper had in the discussion was limited and kind of just a courtesy. that's just my perception anyways. i could be completely wrong. wouldn't be the first time.

  5. Bryce is trying to prove he can be considered a legit starter and the majority of our receiving corps are young guys with potential but little to no proven NFL production. This is highly unlikely to be an MVP season for Bryce. We're just trying to figure out if he's going to take the Jared Goff path or the Justin Fields path.
  6. Parley it with Cannalles to win coach of the year on fanduel
  7. The opening theme to TNG is etched into my earliest memories. To anyone who is a Trek fan and specifically a fan of TNG you should definitely give Picard a look especially the final season which ends on very nostalgic note.
  8. I watched the whole thing and it was overall very encouraging. The trio of Morgan/Tilis/Canales has me feeling optimistic for the future. Now we need to see this on the field. As for Tepper. I don't mind him being in the draft room and giving basic input. Anything beyond that should and will ilicit criticism. Just be an owner and let the football people make the decisions when the time comes. And that's what he did so I have no complaints. I will say as far as the draft and FA we seem to have put a higher emphasis on seeking additions with the right mentality and high character. They're trying to instill a culture. I have no idea if it will work but at least they are making it a priority. That's all I can ask for at this juncture.
  9. nah it'd just be throwing money away lol. Cam had already shown he was a top 10 starter and Mahomes in one game his rookie year showed more than Bryce has shown his whole career
  10. I like the Teppers involvement sorry. Rather have an engaged owner and then someone falling asleep in his box seat. And I think this idea that's he's been overruling the coaches have been overblown, he's just been really bad at hiring them. Canales is his attempt at course correction by making it Dan's choice. The "football guys" are still picked by the owner at the end of the day, there's no way around that so I'd rather the guy be into it.
  11. I actually think Bryce is a decent option as a dark horse MVP candidate. Not many people had Cam winning MVP in 2015 either. Or Mahomes in 2018.
  12. Dan had to of wanted the Rams 2025 1st, filler this year, 2026 1st and 2nd? More? I don't know if #26 in 2025 and probably another pick in 25-28 range in 2026 gets it done.
  13. McCaffrey was also such a huge part of the passing game here (and in SF) that it's easy to think he'd have a lot more rushing yards, just because of the impact he had on games (and sometimes he was it, all of it, the only guy doing anything it seemed). But good for Chuba! Here's to seeing him climb the list, at least past Cam. No slight on Cam and his historic career here, but if your franchise's third leading rusher of all time was a QB, you've had some issues.
  14. CmC had a ton of reciveing yards so it wasn't just injuries thst lowered his rushing yards. Looking at just rushing yards for CMC is like just looking at passing yards for Cam or Lamar. It's a fluff way of building up the year and isn't necessarily with Hubbard. He is a good RB and all we have to do is hope for good health.
  15. I fully expected Teppers to force himself into the conversation, but he was hands on, mouth shut. Morgan brings an eye for talent that we have not had here, imo. I think what he has done over the past 2 seasons in the third and fourth rounds is stellar--I get the XL pick, and I get the Brooks pick in round 2--they have yet to work out, but there was always a patient, 2-3 year plan, and XL was raw. So it is materializing. However, getting a starting LB and TE in rounds 3 and 4 is good (I will call Sanders a starting TE because he will play a lot in the rotation). This year, I think Ransom could start and Princely could be a key rotational piece.
  16. I liked her big hug for Tet when he got here. I also really like how Canales wants to get to know his players... I like that he is trying to create a family vibe, all the while being very vocal that you have to compete to be on the team. I think we are building something special here.
  17. Seemed like Dan was explaining his thought process on moving up vs moving down vs staying put on each individual opportunity they wanted. Maybe he was looking for validation on the valuation of various trade ups/downs from Tep who understands value equivalency convos But it continues a narrative of the Teps being less hands-on than they were before (my timeline has the turning point being the infamous drink toss, with confirmation being the intro Dan/Dave presser)
  18. To me he seemed to allow Tillis and Morgan do their thing. To me it showed he has trust in the FO. Very different than Rhule who as a coach wanted to make all the decisions.
  19. Seth Myers and the Lonely Island podcast go deep on celebrating Will Forte's comedic style
  20. she was but she wasn't center stage with the leadership team like she had been and she wasn't on camera. that's a step in the right direction.
  21. There was a point in the video that Morgan looks at Tepper as if he was seeking approval--but that could have been polite inclusion. If I am Tepper I am sitting right in that seat doing the same thing--but I would be more vocal...When Morgan said, "I was hoping we would not get an offer we'd have to accept..." (paraphrasing)--that is his gut talking. Listen to your gut--don't let circumstances prevent the gut from being heard. Trust the gut. Reason? He knew the draft would play out if they got Tmac. He knew they would get an edge in round 2. After that, they could get a RB and S on day 3.
