  1. Past hour
  2. Chubb might be the exact short term answer for a needed pass rush without destroying our available cap and will still allow our young guys to get reps and improve.
  3. In a likely to be cut article on NfL dot com, they had Kmet and Hockinson as TEs that could be cap casualties. I'd take either over what we have right now. Edge and TE in FA blockbuster deals, the rest chump change signings and build the remainder through the draft.
  4. Lol, there is no way Arvell Reese ends up going 12th. If so, that is one of the rare circumstances where I would be 100% be all for a trade up.
  5. Today
  6. 19. Carolina Panthers: DI Caleb Banks, Florida Banks flashed at the Senior Bowl after returning to action for Florida late in the year due to injury. He has the size that NFL teams look for on the defensive interior, and he flashed both as a pass rusher and against the run in college, recording four sacks back in 2024.
  7. Id add depending on price Tutu Atwell for speed and Skyy Moore to be our returner and WR depth
  8. If it were an ultimatum, one or the other? I would agree. We have 2 good WRs who are in their prime growing phase. And between the two we won’t be paying 10 mil per season. fug giving some guy 20 million. Plus we have a QB that really has only fed these guys targets a few times. Where is the benefit that comes close to the cost? Plus I don’t want to release XL.
  9. Yeah that last line.. I don’t want anything to do with him even though it would be fun to challenge Bryce with a leadership situation. I’d like to see how he handled it. It also made me think. It seems like these twitch type fast WRs are more prone to diva jerk personality disorder. Why the hell is that? Rhetorical…. Generally high strung is my guess. Just running on a different clock.
  10. No, I don't want him anywhere near T-Mac or Coker. Tyreek is a terrible locker room presence and it's not like he's some WR savant, he's just faster and quicker than everyone else, which isn't something he can then help teach to our younger guys. I'd LOVE to have a Tyreek type of player, just zero interest in it actually being him.
  11. I would kick the tires on Chubb but we have no business chasing aging receivers who are also scumbags.
  12. Hill won't be in play but I definitely see us discussing Chubb
  13. We have much more urgent needs to use $20 million of cap space on than a WR who doesn't bring any new skill sets into the WR room. If Coker didn't have his late season breakout, then I'd be more open to considering it, but what we need is a complementary WR to him and T-Mac, a shifty speed guy, not another big body.
  14. On the wrong side of 30, coming off a gruesome leg injury......yea no thank you
  15. the trend in Carolina is not to sign veterans on the back ends of their careers. Madden players do not think about the locker room much. Real world situations? Locker room is very important.
  16. No, a lot of y'all gave Bryce all the rope in the world as a #1 overall pick that we traded the farm for that didn't meet or even come CLOSE to expectations for roughly 2 and a half years into his career. Then wanna give up on a receiver thats going into year 3 with plenty room to grow on a rookie contract... XL made mistakes, but Bryce missed him a good bit throughout the year as well.
  17. Yesterday
  18. I'd rather just release XL straight up than give another WR 20 million to be the 3rd WR.
  19. I was thinking the same, I doubt he comes here for that reason. I doubt either Tyreek Hill or Chubb become panthers
  20. Hmm, good question. Let’s see, he’s 32 and coming off of an ACL tear in September. He’s likely never going to have the speed again that made him great. Also he’s a narcissistic piece of poo who would totally demand targets and stunt the development of Coker and Tet. He would be a major toxic presence in the locker room and he would make Bryce cry and look for a safe space. Nothing could go wrong at all, nothing.
  21. Not a bad option. He's the type of WR we need, good speed and can create after the catch.
  22. Of course what could go wrong, he makes plays and scores touchdowns as he's done his entire career.
