I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft. That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal. Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately. Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him. Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR. Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......

Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.

Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative. If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.

Apparently Ben Johnson calls better plays than Dan.
-
I don’t understand what has happened to the Lions this year?
-
At least Jefferson got PAID but if he's concerned about competing for rings or about his legacy he's gotta be looking at this situation like...
-
Kinda wild they went into the season in the first place with no viable vet in the qb room, Nine didn't even play last year and they just assumed he would be Darnold 2.0 on day 1 or something. I'm sure they've pissed off Jefferson in the process lol.
-
Nine has looked like ass. I'd be terrified of giving Darnold serious guaranteed money on a long-term deal but the franchise tag seemed a viable option. Drafting McCarthy in the top 10 really backed them into a corner.

The Chiefs are done, have been done. Yet ref Vinovich had yet to call a single penalty on the Chiefs until Denver's final drive. Mahomes and Kelce getting air time doing nothing and the announcing crew embarrassing themselves drooling over the Chiefs.
-
He has 3 300 yard passing games in 44 career starts.
-
The way them and the Bucs just completely face planted when they both looked like SB contenders midway through the season is pretty wild.
-
And he's a nice young man with great parents. Don't forget that.
-
I wonder how much they regret letting Darnold walk lol. I thought maybe the first drive Max was gonna steal JJ's job but then the rest of the game happened...
-
I think that was a Broncos false start rather than a Chiefs offside - he got back before the Broncos OLineman jumped.
-
They came out flat from the start, against a very backup backup young qb who looked like a backup rookie and they still couldn't do anything.
-
First, am I wrong? I looked back over all his posts here and I didn't see anything positive other than Shough. Second, pretty sure if you had read the post I was responding to, you would have seen CRA made poo personal as well . You just choose to address me instead of him. Not sure why?????
-
I wanted XL but I felt he should have been a 2nd rounder but I understand the logic trading up just to get the option. A safety net for your gamble. Certainly disappointed with his receivers development but i like his down field blocking and I imagine that's what's keeping him on the field.

Pretty sure it is a given Young lacks typical QB size and strength and he is here simply because his other attributes more than make up for it. My point is not to indicate anyone "settled" for him but rather to remind people that there have been plenty of big, strong QB's that have not lived up to expectations. Jamis Winston, Anthony Richardson, Trey Lance, JaMarcus Russel are a few examples. They all have the physical attributes coveted by teams and yet none have had sustained success in the NFL. And yes, there are QBs that do have both but there aren't many and some of the ones still playing were failures with their early teams. Saying Young is a bust simply based upon his size (and I do think it is as simple as that for a few guys around here) is unfair to both him and the team.

The Vikings beat the Lions with three (3) net passing yards. Max Brosmer completed 9/16 attempts for 51 yards but got sacked 7 times for 48 yards in the process. They rushed for 158 yards and their D forced 6 turnovers.
-
You are dictating a ‘settle’. Like you can only have one, you can’t have both. Fine if you can only have one, it isn’t the worst choice. But it is settling by nature because there are people with both. It is simple, we have limited ourselves by choosing a player who has narrower margins for error than guys with the traditional QB physical attributes that people came to so highly value. And some people are happy about that. Truth has always been that we made it harder on ourselves than it had to be. As Parcels said, he needs to walk on water. That is expecting a lot. And we now have to feed that beast.. there is a fundamental divide here that will never resolve. Even if he elevates his play.

This Chiefs - Broncos game is like watching a Bryce Young game; an OC scheming around an incredibly limited QB. Granted this QB is their third string guy.

shough vs tmac off rookie of the year
CPantherKing replied to fanpanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
TMac is the ORoY Canales has been developing TMac and there's no doubt he's a WR that would make any QB look good. -
So that’s what it is. All I knew was it gets worse as you age. my anatomical expertise is specialized and focuses on the females of our species, so I did not know that.
