  2. If just looking at him and can’t see it maybe you could figure it out from how teams play us - they don’t respect his game. His footwork saps the velocity from an already below average arm and it hurts him. The margins shrink when the ball takes that extra tick to arrive on the longer throws. You could foresee this too, I mean come on. NFL defenders are not college defenders, the NFL is as fast as football gets. You have to beat those defenders. There were valid questions about whether he could, that ended up with bad answers.
  3. I never understood taking a guy that has crazy athleticism but poor production. Like... he had that same athleticism in college, and didn't produce jack shtt with it. You expect him to somehow do even better in the pros? Going against much better competition? Where his athleticism doesn't even stand out anymore?
  4. For the accountability camp it seems like it.
  5. It sure seems like it. I like it.
  6. Many old guys know poo, that they didn’t know like, 30 years ago. Even if they knew a lot then. Insight into scenarios and such.
  7. Why cut him now though? Food for thought: -Canales says need to start playing young guys more. -Jones/Wonnum out; great opportunity for Princeley/Scourton to play. -Instead Johnson starts and plays a ton. Did Morgan cut one of Evero’s guys to make him play the younger guys?
  8. Yea and apparently it came out years ago cause Jessie Bates had read it before his first game:
  9. Why yes, this team is quite pathetic. April will be here before you know it.

T-mac is a very good WR. Clone another T-mac and add him to the team we're still trash. Our QB is a high quality backup QB. We traded the farm for him, and look where he's taken us. I don't even watch the games live anymore. It's over. Blow it up.
  11. I cannot remember much of the 2024 draft room video but I do remember him heavily involved with the Legette pick. Then him being quiet in this draft stood out to me. I have this quirk of noticing things like that.
  12. Yes. We’ve never been able to execute 3-4 that effectively. We did an decent job in the 90s but it was never as good as the defense we had in Fox and Rivera’s 4-3. Technically Rhule and Snow ran a 3-3-5 but they did a lot of disguised fronts and would line up in 3-4, 4-4, 4-3, 4-2-5. Snow was pretty clever. But yeah, it was believed that Tepper pushed Ron to do it in 2019 after our defense was struggling to generate a pass rush from the 4-3 in 2018. All that happened was our run D went to ass and we still had no pass rush.
  13. 1.) Draft a QB in the 1st round. 2.) Clear out the coaches. 3.) Trade the vets. 4.) Rebuild under new leadership.

Enjoy him while we can. We’ll trade him away for peanuts once he realizes how bad we always suck and wants out.
  15. I don't mind the 3-4, but we need scouts and a GM who know how to build a 3-4. We obviously don't have that right now, and so we're watching trash blow in the wind.
  16. I wouldn't expect anyone to be let go until the season is over. Tepper cannot do a midseason firing again. He's going to let Morgan do the dirty work this time.
  17. I did not notice that. I would have to watch but will take your word for it. Dave C was the new guy. They probably told him just watch us work lol.
  18. We could have kept Brian Burns, or traded him for 2 firsts and a second to the Rams, but no. We traded him for peanuts and got nothing in return. Nothing is on the field for what we lost in Burns. His value went up in smoke. Gone along with any hope of this being a good season.
  19. Honestly I'm not sure why Dom's here anymore. He must be Evero's version off Andy Dalton. I wouldn't lose any sleep if both were gone.
  20. Wasn't 3-4 Teppers Idea? I feel like I remember Rivera being forced to switch to it
  21. I think the problem with firing Evero is who do you replace him with right now? Most of the Defensive staff are his hand picked guys. -Todd Wash was a horrible DC -Jonathan Cooley called plays in the pre-season and was horrible -Dom Capers is 163 years old and I doubt he can stay awake an entire game
  22. I would be all for it but that is never going to happen. Tepper decreed it. Ron could run both and had as a DC so he went with it.
