  1. Past hour
  2. 6'1" isn't a deal breaker, especially for a latter pick. At this point a backup level QB that can see the field would be a huge improvement, 6'1" can see a lit more than 5'9"+. Add in any physical traits above poor level and it's all.imprivement in the right direction IMO.
  3. It was the only watchable game of the day. Chambliss might have jumped his draft stock.
  4. Yeah, who wants Lamar Jackson? Midget.
  5. I passed out at halftime. This flu is whipping my ass.
  6. Lol...with an Achilles injury?? I doubt you even see him play football in 2026.
  7. Check down and scramble. Couldn't be any more clear that dude can't see
  8. Too small. I don't want another QB under 6'3
  9. I don't think Mack providing a little more pop to the Alabama offense did Ty Simpson's draft stock any favors. I am extremely skeptical of him as an elite NFL prospect. I really don't see it.
  10. Or if you're going to bet the farm on a small guy who will get rocked by NFL players on a regular basis he better be special. That's what I heard. Regardless, him being vague about it is kind of my point. Few in the media raised any concerns about Bryce's game outright. His passing ability was highly praised across the board even after Stroud had the more impressive Pro Day. There was the dumb debate around batted balls that eventually got squashed and I remember some game tape blogger types talking about his poor footwork, but even that was hand-waved away because he was a "dynamic playmaker" and we had a respected coaching staff that could fix him.
  11. Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy. Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task? If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win. I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!
  12. Today
  13. When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit. It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level. Which he isn’t and can’t. which isn’t just being hit. It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem. He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed. He can’t see as others can. Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take. It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
  14. 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
  15. So much revisionist history around the pre-draft Bryce hype. The media was practically united in saying that if he were a couple inches taller he'd be the perfect prospect and it was just a question of whether he'd hold up in the NFL being that small. The Panthers did not create the mythos around him they were just the team that bought in. The team was largely praised for the move after and for surrounding him with what was considered an all-star coaching staff at the time. Yeah part of the fanbase wanted Stroud but let's be real, we're coming from an oversized franchise QB who injured himself out the league. There was some analysis here on the limitations of Bryce's game but people were mostly just concerned he was going to turn into dust when he got sacked in the NFL.
  16. Maybe Rod changing his philosophy a little so that stars dont turn into JAGs.
  17. I feel like the last 2 years were the best chances to win the Cup under Rod. Especially 2 years ago. Im afraid this year is the start of the decline. You cant last forever with his philosophy which doesnt change and most stars you get by the trade deadline end up being just another guy. It sucks because he is a master motivator. All he needs to do is make small tweaks like change his coaching staff and actually address the issues this team has had year after year in the playoffs. Not just personnel wise, but strategic wise.
  18. I'm upset as much as the rest of us. But let's also keep in mind that we've had terrible injury luck so far... Pyotr having a season ending injury was killer because I think we would have moved on from Freddie otherwise
  19. When have the falcons ever done anything good for us? If we lose, the Saints definitely beat the falcons
  20. I will be there! Pumped for the 430 Sat time change.
  21. Was wondering how many times the celebration crew would have to roll the stage onto the field and back off again
  22. *EVERY* NFL game is aired on a local broadcast channel in each participating team's market - even if the primary national coverage is on a paid channel (ESPN, Netflix, Amazon, Peacock) For those outside the primary Charlotte or Tampa viewing areas, then ESPN may (or may not) be your only option (check local listings to confirm). Example: Atlanta ABC is airing the game, even though it's outside those local viewing areas
  23. Necas didn't want to be here... What did you want them to do with Mikko... Let him walk for free and ruin half a season???
