Spencer Fanno OT Utah or Caleb Downs S Ohio State? I'm already falling out of love with next year's qb class. Maybe Mateer QB Oklahoma in the second.
-
I do to! Let’s all pull out the blue Peppers jerseys. See if invokes the power of the old Gods! We will need their help
-
I agree CRA, especially when you don't know how many snaps until he's on the shelf AGAIN

Brown is a beast. There was a video up of him totally rag dolling a Cardinal lineman. It was a legit rag dolling of that guy. I haven’t seen one big man do that to another for some time. Sacks are not the best measure of his value, IMO. If he takes up two guys then one of his teammates should be eating. I don’t much of that. I would say look at Brian Burns the other day tearing. He wasn’t doing that until they put more in the line with him that people have to worry about. Now he is eating. (hopefully Brown’s teammates will take advantage of what he is doing for them)

Spencer Rattler is Dollar Tree Sam Howell. Sam Howell is Dollar General Jameis Winston. I know that we suck at QB but maybe shoot a little higher than bottom third of the NFL QB backup. Everyone isn't an outlier. I swear fans desperation has them ignoring all logic and reasoning.
-
Jake Delhomme literally took us to a Super Bowl.............
-
Yeah. Like that. I was picturing Sgt Carter yelling at Gomer Pyle, showing my age, but that is good enough right there.
-
Spencer Rattler sucks. Can we please stop dumpster diving. It has never ended well for us.
-
He has no effort out there for one. Number 2 they have realized he has to be a gimmick guy. We are always chasing a deebo guy for some reason but our deebo never runs north and south and cant break tackles.
-
Well wonders never cease.
-
Svech has a MNTC and would have to waive it to be included in a trade.
-
Falcons tend to be front-runners and fade a bit as the season goes on. I think it's because they know they are the 4th fiddle in their own town behind the Braves, UGA and SEC football in general, and it all ends up getting in their heads when they start to fall off. I expect them to be playing with some passion and intensity this Sunday.
-
Agreed. Maybe we get lucky and its a Jake Delhomme 2.0 situation where the Saints move to another QB and we can sign or trade for him because he wants to be a starter. Then we just have a fun gunslinger again which would be a nice change of pace. But I fear he might end up meshing well with Kellen Moore in NO and they might be smart for once and just draft for the roster.

Michael McLeod is a Cane apparently..

You see, this is why I'm more critical of Dave Canales

He's going way overboard. I mean, men talk this way all the time. Bryce seems like a fine young man. But he's been piss poor at his job. I wish that I could be piss poor at mine---wait, no I don't---and get paid millions. The thing is, I've supported Bryce in the past, but he doesn't seem to be the type of QB that what I've heard Chris Canty refer to as a "force multiplier." He can't make good players great, he needs great players to make him good. He's not going to pull out a win when times get tough (at least he hasn't), but he becomes good when there is essentially nothing to play for. After trying to give Bryce the benefit of the doubt, and waiting for the light switch to stay on, I'm tired of waiting. I've seen what I need to see, and it ain't pretty. So excuse me for calling Bryce, "pussified" for not being more aggressive in his pursuit of down field plays. He appears to just not have it in him. I'm sorry, Bryce and all Bryce Stans. He's still got to go though. -
Yeah me too. We should have taken him. He was a much better bet than most of what you find that far down. He might have been 5 stars coming out of high school, I don’t know. Just that he was highly thought of. His college career didn’t get off to a great start and he ended up on a bad team with bad protection. But you could watch him and see what he had. I don’t see a way he doesn’t have a long career as a #2, at worst.

For the record @AceBoogie, I was referring to his unwillingness to push the ball down the damned field. My bad. He just has a problem seeing the field. -

Don't be a snowflake. -
Yeah it's crazy, and why I wanted to draft him even though I knew they never would do that for political reasons in house. Could've really done the Josh Rosen thing and just admitted a mistake after year 1 and at least drafted a backup. One of my better predictions was thinking Spencer Rattler is going to make an NFL franchise very happy, especially with the low cost of his pick. Arm has always popped off the screen despite his mistake-prone play.

I mean.. statistically is harder to go 0-3 than 1-2.. so... LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Who is playing QB for the Panthers in this movie, where we beat Atlanta?

To me, that guy is every bit the pro quarterback Bryce is, with a better NFL physique, and a better arm. If I totaled up the value of the picks we used for Young, which I haven’t, and compare that to whatever the 5th round pick that secured Rattler… sheesh. And we could have all that value playing other positions. ILB cough cough. Just looking at the 1st and the 2nd from 2023, not the next year number 1 or the next year’s 2nd, and whatever value DJ Moore could be assigned… One chart has #1 at 3000, number 59 at 310. Pick 150? 31 Edit: One way to see it is, for just the first two picks we gave up we could spend a pick in the 5th round for 100 Years.
