  1. Past hour
  2. You mean who does David Tepper want.
  3. Lol.... We're not hiring anyone externally so this is a exercise in futility. If Evero goes we will promote from within. I don't agree but think that's what we do.
  4. Who would be on your list? Looks like he may be going if they requested a 2nd interview. Need an aggressive attitude this time. Who u got?
  5. It's not an outlier in terms of elite/good pass rushers performing less effectively under Evero.
  6. Do we have end of season figures for that? I saw mention of this early in the season.
  7. Do it Raiders. Win win for everybody. We get comp picks and you get the HC that you want.
  8. Evero has experience with survival in a bad organization. So they may be interested in that.
  9. My childhood team and Panthers are out of it with my two lawyers!
  10. The Raiders as an organization are certainly dysfunctional to say the least but it sounds like what ultimately got Pete Carroll canned (blind loyalty to his favorites) are the same things that led the Seahawks to say thanks but no thanks after seeing that for years. As for Evero I haven't seen anything from him that would indicate he is a great evaluator of talent. Without that he's doomed in LV.
  11. I'm all for adding another true receiver with elite speed, although the Panthers already have one that they don't utilize nearly enough.
  12. Fans have a particular image of hiw different started positions should be, regardless of availability or any other factors. Burns could never be the pass rusher that Peppers was, so he's not worth a second contract. One example Bryce Young does fit the average mold of a starting QB, abd is the polar opposite of Cam Newton when it comes to size and strength only. So it's easy for the fans to dismiss him, because he doesn't fit their definition of a capable QB. NEWS FLASH. neither of these players fit the prototypical size, strength, capability that most NFL fans want and desire. Yet, there also aren't enough of those prototypical players available for every team to have one, let alone be in position to aquire one.
  13. There's an alternate universe out there where Raiders hire him, we get 2 third round comps, Tepp writes Tomlin a $10M check (2-3x Dave's salary lol) and we win the Super Bowl in 2028
  14. This one sucks because for what we got, terrible trade. For what we had (2 1st round) and didn't do, terrible trade. Fitterer really was just horrendous its insane looking back.
  15. Well. Unfortunately the Cam Newton era put a spotlight on some very ugly folks. We'll leave it at that. Athlete salaries especially for certain skill positions have gotten absurd to say the least and we live in heightened times of awareness as a society so general criticism will always be present. For me it boils down to what I'm seeing and hearing with my own eyes and ears. If the QB is pulling his weight and even doing some of the heavy lifting for those around him then he will receive the benefit of the doubt so long as he is holding up his end of the bargain. And all QB's even the really good ones are going to have some lesser games compared to others. But where we are now is basically just being thrilled when our guy can do the most basic things on a football field. And there are people who can't understand why dialogue is not getting any better. If it were not so absurd it would be quite amusing.
  16. It’s been a couple seasons so I don’t remember the exact quote, but I’m pretty sure I remember him admitting to mailing it in at the end of the season.
  17. Today
  18. I feel like at three years here, he could take the mentor training wheels off. Aside from that I wonder about whatever advice he needs from Dom concerns… he should know his XOs cold. I would think a mentor could help more with things like how to handle problems with his staff, with his boss, issues with players, more stuff like that than XO stuff.
  19. I always looked at the Burns booty as including the money saved by not paying him, along with the draft picks. And looked at the 150 million spent on guards as representing that savings. It comes out to about a wash, 30 million per goes to Burns or to protect the little fella. You know who gets the attention. Not the defense. And no doubt we were screwed when the LAR trade proposal and those details leaked.
  20. Or start Freddie and yank him if he gives up a goal on the first shot
