Worst Panthers Preseason Yet
PleaseCutStewart replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'll take the worst preseason ever if we can finish above.500 this year... -
Opposite approach of how we built our qb room the last couple years, we'll see if the strategy pays off. QB Russell Wilson Jameis Winston Jaxson Dart* Tommy DeVito
-
If it isn't Fitz, we are just that re tar ded... We aren't winning the superb owl - why keep a kicker that is the equivalent of a sloppy seven-nds
-
I hope they keep Fitz myself.
-
I somewhat agree. The Steelers played a lot more starters than we did and we won the first couple of series on both sides. The problem is every team has better depth than the Panthers. It should not be hard to find 37 players to cut
-
I was actually thinking this as well. He is not beating out Boswell
-
PantherKyle started following Kicker
-
Canales said decision will be tomorrow. Fitz? Wright? Do we try to keep Sauls in Charlotte overnight with them having Boswell?

Preseason over..2025 predictions
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm sticking with 1-4 wins. Subject to change if the whole "we're going to flick a switch in week one and be a good football team" thing happens. -
Until we actually win more than 5 games I’m sticking with 5 games. Team looks content to cash checks and get punked every week. It’s set in now. They have embraced the suck.

Jacksonville. 17 days. That's all that matters.

Preseason Week 3 - vs. Pittsburgh (practice tweets, discussion, etc)
Joe Bear replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
It actually was pretty fun. Last game I went to before tonight was a 27-0 loss, so actually seeing the Panthers score points for the first time since 2019 was cool. It was probably 65-35 Steelers fans but the vibes were good. -
Nothing will ever touch just how bad 2010 was.
-
Hell, 2023 was worse.
-
2010 was far, far worse. 4 games, 0 offensive touchdowns. This wasn’t good but it wasn’t THAT bad.

You’re joking right? Guy has been here about 7 days and he was expected to play the most difficult position on the field from a mental standpoint. He actually outplayed Plummer. Better completion % QBR, no turnovers. -
6 wins

I think a lot of the poor game performance was mostly in part to DC and EE not calling plays. There are no public cameras at the joint practices. Those results, at this juncture, are more telling that poorly called vanilla playbooks. If we break 3-2 or better in our first 5 games, we set ourselves up nicely for significant improvement. We could be 7-7 heading into week 16. Games against the (H/A) Bucs and (H) Seahawks could make or break us. If that doesn't make for good TV I don't know what does. Two of 3 at the Bank.

Seems like all offseasons and seasons are a blur to me now

Post- Training Camp 53-Man Roster Projection

You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season. He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season. That's what you get from AT. ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch. He is steady. At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams. Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league. Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family. You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad. You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam. Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge. Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe? I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
