Speaking of revisiting trades: Brian Burns

That may be, but he has been the best "complimentary" piece. Hell, there is an argument that the others are the complimentary pieces. I still ain't mad. What's done is done, but I'll always look at those two firsts as the trade that got away. We lost a ton of value, from not take ng the Rams' offer, and now we seemingly lost a bit more due to his current play. It's been a acknowledged, now let's move on because that's all that we can do. - Today

If you can't tell that Morgan is investing assets to try and make a dominant pass rush I don't know what to tell you. Tried to sign the dude from Philly, brought in 4ish free agents, double dipped in the draft. The plan may not pan out but it is clear the plan is to build from the line out on both sides of the ball -

I am gonna say good for him. That is kind of impressive. -
That does sound familiar. Those fans are deep. In snow lol. you don’t want to be up there in January. I would think they have probably seen it all. Except what… the championship? Gotta feel for them.

I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired (or out) after the 2023 season. Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well. I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.

It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.

I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.

Very little, he's led the Giants in double team and triple team rate since he was traded to them. Last year he was over 40% on double team rate. -
Yeah. In seriousness, I believe if we see the Andy we saw in Las Vegas and the OL let’s him be that, we could rock. Because the players get excited if he is slinging it. We did not have the running game we’ve just had for a couple of weeks the last time Andy played either. That may not happen. Who knows. The OL and running game are about as QB friendly as we have had for some time. Mostly due to the line. Which couldn’t make a yard last week. And the defense is pulling their weight much better than the last time Andy started. They have done a pretty good job with the D. Could be just one or two years away from being really good. Again who knows. We are in good shape if tne players are up for it. I’ll just wait and see. It is pretty much an annual playoff team coming in here.

A line that he leads in double team and triple team rate by a wide margin and has since he became a Giant. Last year he had a double team rate over 40%. -
PFR has Bryce at 5.8 Y/A for his career and Mike White at 6.9
-
IDGAF if it's horizontal, vertical or backwards in terms of passing attack. Just make it work and be efficient. We don't seem to be able to accomplish even that on a consistent basis.
-
Yeah we had that here too. Baby GOAT, Kyle Allen. How did that turn out? Same as it did in NY for Mike White.

idk if that's even possible! -
His career Intended Air Yards/Attempt is 6.8. Literally almost a full yard lower than Bryce. He is a dink and dunk QB.

Jonathan mingo diving out of bounds still might be funniest poo I ever seen https://x.com/mikerenner_/status/1729167585923715442?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1729167585923715442|twgr^517d571cd4a5e0681595869a55c252b3ff49f14c|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.redditmedia.com%2Fmediaembed%2F1gk8wp5%2F%3Fresponsive%3Dtrueis_nightmode%3Dtrue

Was it really? Damn I thought it was a couple months. I must have remembered it wrong.
-
If we don't extend him, there is no way another team would offer him more than a one year $10m prove it deal lol.

He isn’t but looking at what those guys are getting paid, paying him what he’s making now wouldn’t have been terrible, they should have and still should be looking at pairing some guys with brown to form a pretty dominant d line -
The Bryce hate is nearly laughable. He looked like garbage the first two games, but has really, really shown improvement and growth. People who know football are taking notice. Will Bryce ever be Arron Rodgers, Farvre, Manning or any other hotshot gunslinger? No, but I think he is a smart football player who has survived a lot more than most other QB's would have after 2.5 years. So long as this injury doesn't linger I think you will see legitimate growth over the next two years, with a big leap coming next season. Reich and Brown not working together, Duce causing trouble behind the scenes. Starting WR's of Mingo and Chark. No legitimate scheme for the OL. Fitterer's general incompetence. An owner who was desperate for attention. How did Zac Wilson, Mariota, Winston, Tribuski, Rosen, Lawarence, Fields, Jones, Pickett, and Richardson fair after 2.5 years? We see what happens when the Texans have not given Stroud the support. The 2018 draft had great talent, they just needed to mature, hell we wasted two of the top three drafted that year. Outside of Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, or Drake Maye, I'm not sure I really would want any other 1st round QB drafted in the past 10 years? RELAX...... Bryce is our guy as we grow as a team. The only other option I currently see is maybe a buy low draft pick on Drew Allar if he falls to the third round or lower. Bryce is going to be extended. He won't get Prescott money which would benefit our team going forward. A mid range extension like Darnold or Baker got may be just the thing this team needs to keep growing.

Even if he had just a two week window of incredible play, it would open up people eyes to what the offense would look like with a different QB than what we've been fielding for the last couple years. No one is saying White should or could be a long term solution, just a different perspective on what the offense could look like, and if it hypothetically did happen it would put major pressure on the situation that they've been half-assing
-
Oh yes I forgot we have a severely limited playbook thanks to Bryce lol.
-
Exactly! Linsanity was about 2 weeks also.
