Are we positive they didn’t mean 7.1 for Bryce? -

71.1 for Bryce? Is he on a 30 point curve? -
Ohhh yea. 1s, that was on 3rd down according to Gabe McDonald. Found it! TMac was gone. Easy 6 if Jourdan Lewis doesn't kill Bryce. tmacgone.mp4
-
We saw Tmac beat his man earlier in the game for a nice vertical throw. Bryce couldn't make a good throw. Tmac had to hit the breaks and come to a complete stop. Became a true contested 50/50 ball that never should of been that. We thankfully got the PI out of it. WR vertical downfield with a step on a defender is BY's worst throws. He underthrows them or leads them out of bounds. There is no easy TD for BY on those.
-
Yeah, that ball sailed through the back of the endzone 20' off the ground. Surely to god that wasn't a "miss".
-
He's definitely not a NFL QB, he would probably make a great flag football QB. The sooner the team moves on from him the quicker the turnaround.
-
so you are going with just a horrific pass to Saunders? well, I guess I am less of a Bryce hater than some think. Because I don't think BY is THAT bad.
-
Honestly don't remember when it was, but they blitzed a DB who wasn't picked up and he hit Bryce as he was throwing and the ball just fluttered away since he was going deep to T-Mac on the play. T-Mac was lined up on the left side of the formation and ran a post route I think, but since they never showed the replay other than from behind the QB to show the hit, I'm not 100% sure.

This is the type of players he asked for to run his hybrid defense that no players fit. -
I probably won't have time to do a true breakdown until later in the week, but I can find the play if you can give me the timeframe. I think that might have been in the second half... was it an incompletion to somebody else? I think he went to the right and TMac was left, correct?

I’m trying to be positive on Bryce Young, but….
LinvilleGorge replied to LegioX's topic in Carolina Panthers
A lot of people really overrated the "improved" Bryce. He basically just went from being the worst starting QB in the league to maybe middle of the pack. It just seemed relatively great because he was so completely awful previously. -
I posted his stats early. 175 ypg 17 rpg .87tpg .67ipg .17rtpg

What bothers me more than the 4th down blunder or his inability to slide and overall carelessness with the football, is that every. single. play, Bryce switches something at the line, or redirects a WR or blocker with about 4 seconds on the play clock, then claps in desperation to get the snap before the delay of game penalty. Every. single. play. It's mind boggling he's this out of sync, or the communication between he and DC is that broken. Something like this can be fixed in an off-season, or TC, or even pre-season if DC elected to call plays and put Bryce in the game. But we know that doesn't happen here. -
In terms of a multi-year starter... honestly, he's in the conversation. Have their been worse one off starters or guys who have started a few games? Sure. But in terms of a guy who has gone into multiple seasons as the planned franchise QB? I mean... oof. Bryce is up there.

jt0.mp4 Here's where you can see his eyes and when things are happening. As already covered, JT0 wasn't looking at Bryce when Bryce looked his way and had TMac's defender starting to come into the window. At the beginning where you believe he sees JT0 open, he's scanning to see if Chuba's underneath. Chuba also ran a lazy, lazy route here. Regardless, this is a thread about TMac. There are plenty of other Bryce threads to try and carry your crusade in.

Agreed. And I think there would be a lot more talk about it if this franchise were relevant in any way.
-
I don’t think “worst ever” is hyperbole. Again, there are statistics that he literally has been the worst in league history in for the number of starts he has had. He may have moved up slightly on those, but again, throw in the value that was given up for him, and I think it’s a pretty easy conclusion to make.
