  1. Past hour
  2. Hoover and Mensah have gone to top-tier situations. They'll be first round picks. Sellers might be a third day pick.
  3. I'm a little worried that we haven't created any real cap space yet. Plenty of restructures we can do to create significant cap room + releasing A'Shawn Robinson. Makes me think maybe we won't be as active as many of us would like/expect. But who knows; just because we haven't heard yet doesn't mean the wheels aren't turning behind the scenes.
  4. Why does anyone assume Arch Manning is going to even be that good of a prospect? He was awful for a good chunk of last season and if it wasn't for his last name he'd be projected to go in the 4th-5th round at best.
  5. Dolphins released Tua. No surprises here.
  6. Why is everyone just assuming Arch is coming out after the 26 football season. Doesn't he have another year of eligibility left after that?? I still remember when most people here assumed Andrew Luck was coming out after the 10' season and he went back to school. Every time I've watched Sellers he's been god awful. I don't see it unless he transfers or does something significantly different to elevate his game.
  7. I think there's a reason why we don't get the best free agents. We usually don't have a ton of cap to work with and other teams have way more. So we lose bidding wars to other teams and we have to settle for middling talent. Some of you guys are getting your hopes up for top names every year.
  8. They made the same bed over and over since 2020. Let them lie in it. We all know the definition of insanity, and the only thing as consistent as the Canes getting to the playoffs every year is their inability to address/solve the goalie issue every year.
  9. Based on what? That list is complete garbage and makes no sense.
  10. Today
  11. This guy up late pooing posts over Dan Morgan talking about others whining lol You gonna throw down over your favorite GM too if anyone dares to say anything that could be perceived as critical? Folks like you used to behave the same way over Scott Fitterer. How'd that work out?????
  12. Yeah we need to be above 40 if we are going to jack up so many trees, which is the way we want to play. If they get to the playoffs and are shooting well look out. I'm a little concerned about getting there now that I feel like they're locked in to 9-10. I think best case for the hornets is 43-39 which is close to worst case for philly and Orlando so the hornets would have to beat both of them down the stretch to get tie breakers and try to get in the 7 spot. The loss to Miami pretty much ended hope of the 6 seed.
  13. The issue with kicking the can down the road in regards to the cap is it all depends on the returns you're getting. Is this group worth going all in on for the 26th passing offense and a group that backed their way into the playoffs with the help of the Falcons? For me I would be more inclined to do what we can within the limits of reason and not treat this offseason like we have to fix everything in one swoop. Because that has also not worked out for us in the past either.
  14. My main gripe about Council is just his pace of talking. Its not pleasant. He just starts and then talks fast paced non stop the whole show. It hurts to listen to.
  15. Unfortunately I don't think they're ready for playoff expectations yet honestly.
  16. Could we PLEASE get a decent Locked On podcast? The Locked On Hornets guys show you how it's done. Two people, with actual banter and entertaining, insightful talk vs whatever the heck the LOP show is. We got rid of Mixon, this is the next step.
  17. This team can't shoot 33% from 3 and win at the current rate if we're gonna live by that. No excuse for the poor shooting tonight, everything else was in place
  18. Magic heat and hawks are winning every fuging game. It's annoying going to have to finish 42-40 to get out of 10th
  19. I was looking at Lloyd's stats and nothing really blew me away. A few good games here and there but definitely not worth paying top.dollar for IMHO. I only saw a handful of jags games and while he was solid I didn't see him dominate a game a la Morgan, beaston, td or kuechly. Imo we be paying top dollar for a solid lb But not one that can take over a game
  20. Perhaps in some respects. He just passed it backwards. I give Pickett more points for improvisation and what-the-fvck-was-that factor. It was truly crazy looking. But Brooks folded to the pressure much worse, I'll give you that.
  21. I wouldn't count on it, if i was Rod. But, it sounds like rehab is going well. Saw a video of Pyotr skating the other day at practice. We might end up getting a look at Primeau before the season is out.
  22. 4 missed threes in a row lol. We can move the ball better than that to get sure baskets. Only watching this late because the time change and I tmrw off lol.
  23. Less than an hour ago, Eagles reporting through SI that they are close to a "Monster" deal with Phillips. https://www.si.com/nfl/eagles/onsi/news/eagles-make-significant-progress-on-monster-jaelan-phillips-deal-pat3
