Diego Pavia measures 5'9" at the Senior Bowl

Standing next to 6’3 stroud it looks like his hair assisted is about 6’1. Can’t see their shoes tho -
LMFAO In what world is Joe Brady going to be better than Sean? How does that put them over the hump? Bills really are the Panthers of the AFC
-
I think the jobs good candidates want are gone. Browns, Cards, or Raiders? Oof. Taking a year off and waiting for better opportunities to arise seems like the right call. Either the Raiders set to take Mendoza #1 overall an offensive minded coach seems like the logical move there anyway.
-
I think his scheme is pretty different than Evero. Not sure we have the players to run it currently.
-
Nothing strange with that. Half of that list are about to hit or surpass the median American male lifespan.
-
I honestly don't think he is even fond of this franchise. He couldn't wait to leave. I understand the sentiment in some capacity but we have to stop looking in the rear view.
-
4 offensive turnovers in the Denver game and the OC gets promoted. Yes the Denver game that the owner listed specifically as the reason McD was fired....
-
@poundaway must be reeling. Joe Brady rn:

All jokes aside Alabama clearly exaggerated his measurables. And everyone saw him show up to the combine looking like he just chugged a 5 gallon water jug. -
I have to imagine there were very few outside candidates legitimately considering the position. Everybody around the NFL saw that press conference and how they talked about McDermott. I think Joe Brady is a good offensive mind but who knows if he will be successful as a head coach. But now that he and everyone else knows what the bar for success is in the eyes of Bills ownership I think he's in over his head. I'll be surprised if he is as or more successful than McDermott was in the postseason.
-
I think McDermott takes the year off.
-
Kinda head scratching unless McD was handcuffing the offense, but their top 5 offensive ranking doesn't scream that. I guess we'll see. Meanwhile...
-
Depends what side of his call you’re on. We NEVER were with him
-
I think I saw where he said he's taking a year off from coaching and will come back in 2027
- Today
-
McDermott is gonna be a HC elsewhere I don't see him going back down to DC- this year or next year
-
That's what happens when you let your QB in on the hiring process. Edit to add. Beane isn't going to say no to this, he has full control over the roster now. It's his show now and if it fails he can blame Allen because he was in on the decision making
-
Like Spags. If Evero gets the job, then hopefully we would consider interviewing Brendan Daly.
-
I totally agree I wonder what they are going to do when they lose again next season

Not quite. The 6'0" thing was an exaggeration (a lie, basically) by the college. The 204 thing was Bryce's true weight at the NFL Combine, but obviously pounds out on by Bryce for the weigh-in (akin to what boxers do at their weigh-ins the day before a fight). Pavia may have done the same thing with his weight, but height can't be faked at the Combine. -

Only way that'd make any sense is if you go big in FA/trade for a pass rusher. Even then we need a burner/good route runner that can catch and that can be gotten later or in FA -
McDermott obviously has more experience doing it, I guess my only concern would be he likes to play things similarly to Evero..ie soft coverage and hopefully your passrush gets there or rushes the throw. We have good corners so personally I think the best way to use them is to play more aggressively on D. I'd like a coordinator that will do that
-
It honestly makes no sense. The Bills problems weren't with the coaching staff, it was with the roster their GM put together. Firing McDermott was their way of saying they felt things weren't working, but then go and just hire their OC which will just keep things mostly the same. The move would have been to replace the GM, not the HC, very odd to then end up hiring their OC instead.

I think it's a little cold that Buffalo is going to hire Joe Brady as their new Coach (2) Adam Schefter on X: "Sources: the Bills are working to finalize a deal to make offensive coordinator Joe Brady their new head coach. https://t.co/bUcj7nXHFC" / X
