Who is the open receiver over the top? I see two deep DBs (looked like the call was cover-3). Maybe rip the seam and hit Renfrow here, but then some folks would be calling it a hospital ball. If folks want to call out Bryce for playing poorly, the two plays that have stuck out the most so far that I've seen from the all-22 were the throw that was behind TMac and the one that he tried forcing into three Pats defenders that was almost picked. Those were both bad for different reasons, both of which were issues prior to his benching and of major concern seeing them already in year 3. Will be covering both of those when I get home and able to get the videos.

He should be cut today. The idea of giving him two more years is bonkers. He's never shown anything.

Kyle Bailey and cohost said yesterday that they absolutely would pick up the 5th citing drew brees and sam darnold as examples but they would bring in a vet to compete. Wtf are people watching? Is this all a giant suck up to tepper. People can point to darnold and brees but they overlook the vast wasteland of poo qbs that never worked out, mac jones, kenny pickett, zach wilson the list is endless. Keeping bryce and hoping he turns into a top 10 qb is akin to winning the powerball, the odds are overwhelmingly against you. and anyone using sam fuging darnold as an example of why we should keep bryce needs to have their head examined. The dude has been the same player his entire fuging career. Shows talent then mentally implodes at the faintest sign of pressure

At least tag me if you're going to try and throw jabs.

No need for further speculation IMO.

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D. replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
The sooner this team realizes we are 3-5 years away from building a playoff contender the better. We should be trading back, loading up on picks so that when the time is right, we can strike. That goes for bringing in veteran Free Agents as well. We shouldn't be spending money yet. It's not our time. Trade back, build the core with multiple draft picks and wait to strike when the iron is hot. -
They used to play well agaisnt bad teams but they have purged too much talent to keep thr HC's guys IMO. I think they show up half alive and just blame it on the injury. We have 2 good CBs but they get zero help from behind. It really doesn't take much more than 3 decent options but yeah it would be easier with Hill. Meanwhile double Tet and play the run is all it takes to shut us down. This and the Jets game will determine if we are picking top 10 or top 5 IMO.

Just like we should of have done when we picked BY... Trade back and collect picks!! We need help at lots of positions! And I wouldn't be scared to ask about Shedeur Sanders.

The overall gist from the peanut gallery "How can you not like this signing!!!111!!!!!!11!!!!!"

I want to see some more passes right into a DT's face mask. Good job

100%. Phins not having Hill though will make life drastically different for our defense. But they got Waller, Waddle, and Achane is probably more than they can handle. Need a bad Tua game.

Everyone deals with injuries in the NFL. Thier biggest challenge will be coming off a Monday night game. I could see them showing up like Atlanta did.

These dudes just phoning in content. This is the better version of Bryce? Oh lawd, wait til he hits a bad streak lol

There was a whole lot of coping going on in that thread damn. Life comes at you fast!

What I saw in Sunday was a team that has given up. No, it’s not all on Bryce but his play does not inspire confidence from his teammates. After watching Horns interview I feel like it is pretty obvious, plus when Andy came in the offense seemed to fly around and no I am absolutely NOT saying Andy should start. At this point let Bryce sink himself, trade value is zero anyway.

Observer Young needed to be more than turnover fred
frankw replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young has been handed starting gigs since he was a kid and his parents paid for him to get the best coaching available. It cannot be understated what playing for Saban and Alabama did for him in terms of his perception in the media. The hype he has received and the pass he still receives is like nothing I've ever seen. You would think he willed a mediocre Alabama team to a national championship and won it largely on his own. Cam Newton did that. And he still wasn't regarded as the best QB in his class. Bryce showed up to the combine and hid out in a hoodie. He knew full well what he was doing and you best believe his parents were in his ear advising him to do so too. He looks like a guy who has never had to face real adversity in his life. And the Panthers have only reinforced that and further coddled him. The results speak volumes. -
signing andy dalton to that deal never made an ounce of sense and you see the usual suspects poo folks when we pointed it out in real time The next "wtf" contract we will rehash is going to be moton and we got receipts for that as well

not going to matter

Tyreek Hill carted off the field last night was a bad knee injury

Posted this before but for 2025 our salary cap spending on the offense versus the defense is comically lopsided. We have invested a great deal just to try and make this kid look even mediocre and he can't do it. https://overthecap.com/positional-spending
