Rico has much better vision than Chubba.
-
Haha yeah. He read the play very well. I feel like he has a tendency to whiff but he's made some nice plays lately. He definitely looks better now that they shuffled the mic.

Scourton passed the eye test, surprised to see him this low

QB 2026 (For the Young Haters)
Swaggasaurus replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tough to say who will actually be available, but Geno Smith potentially. Anthony Richardson potentially. Smaller guy, but Minshew. -
He's not a bad player but I swear the guy has broken bone syndrome. He cannot stay healthy.
-
I'm not sold on Howell being better. He was let go pretty quickly by the Commanders and was considerably worse than Young with turnovers
-
The problem with our two back system, at least to me is they are the same type of back. Both are maulers that perform better the more they are used. We don’t have a Montgomery and Gibbs situation where one is a scat back and the other is a mauler. I don’t see how Chuba and Rico fit on the same team cohesively unless you plan on handing the ball off 50 times a game…which might be the plan
-
No argument... I always say anything is possible but the path to that destination is just about unnavigable.
-
Rozeboom would have been even higher had he not whiffed on that screen play I thought he ws going to blow up.
-
Glad to see PFF also recognized Rozeboom had an outstanding game. The fact that Zavala was the top guard backup over BC earlier in the year is comically bad - Zavala should only be playing oline when there is nobody left that is healthy...
-
They threw the same exact out route 4 times and competed it once
-
His problems aren't mental, he's actually a really sharp guy. Bryce's limitations are all physical: height, weight and arm strength. No amount of experience is going to overcome that. He knows our offensive system, is locked in with our personnel and knows how to read defenses. The problems are he can't see down field in a crowded pocket, has to step into his throws to get any sort of velocity on it, even still limited on the distance and is zero threat in the run game in as far as called QB runs (not busted pocket scrambles).
-
The only big surprise to me was Rozeboom. Definitely had a decent game, but surprised to see just how high they rated him. Looking like Morgan did really well in FA and the draft this year.
-
Not too shabby considering we just picked him up off SF practice squad.
-
We attended the previous two years Cowboy games, both of which were dominant wins by Dallas. Last year, I was sick as a dog. She just about had to carry me to the game The year before? Our seats were surrounded by obnoxious Cowboy fans. If I had the choice, I'd relive last year's before the other. Feeling half dead still beats being stuck in the middle of a bunch of Dallas fans

QB 2026 (For the Young Haters)
DaveThePanther2008 replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cousins is too old, Wllson is done, Pickett isn't any better than Young, Geno might work well with Canales again but he's not going to get us any further in the playoffs. The only one I would consider is Howell because he's young and had a decent season with the Commanders. Of course he'd have to clean up his interception rate but otherwise I'd like to see what Canales does with him. -

That Trevon Moehrig had a great game yesterday for you guys. He’s a great player.
-
I think we are agreeing aren’t we?
-
Who would that be.
-
I can understanding thinking Bryce is a backup in this league. But there is no realistic path to him being our backup. The fate of the backup in the NFL is typically playing for so many teams that you become a free space on Immaculate Grid.
-
If the Bryce from late last season would show up we would be cooking right now. I don’t understand what’s going on and why we’re not taking more shots down field. I don’t think Coker suddenly became a bad WR.

OFFICIAL Panthers @Packers GameDay Thread

I remember being in Confirmation class in that 99 game as we had it on Sunday afternoon. I remember our pastor turned the radio on and we all listened to the last drive. When you guys scored our whole class was so depressed. -
I have to pray he shows Morgan, Canales, Tillis, Tepper, what he really is over these last 8 games, and they can see it. However that works out, good or bad. Because no matter what he shows us over the backstretch here, the stans will refuse to admit anything. They twist Sunday’s 48 passer rating into him being a Franchise guy and play the ‘nothing is ever his fault’ games weekly. It is so boring, always the same poo since before the 2023 draft.
-
Oy I usually map out the roster but I haven't done that this season. Hell, I'm having to look up jersey numbers in games when I see a play. Figures
