  1. Past hour
  2. They came prepared. We didn't. That's a coaching fail.
  3. Yeah I'm starting to lean this way too. We're not going to be in the running for the a list, top tier guys this year. I'm okay with that, there are some pretty intriguing guys in tier 2 that we could take a look at.
  4. I can’t say coaching was the reason they lost. They are a caged animal because Bryce is so limiting. You say you don’t want to rehash it but the offense starts and ends with the QB position. And it’s obvious the coaching staff is trying their best to make salad out of midget sh*t.
  5. Jaycee Horn is talented and I appreciate what he brings to the locker room but he is not worth top 3 corner money. It is what it is.
  6. See above... Even with the limitations Bryce gives you, there were things that could have been done. There are certainly specific types of players that are geared toward attacking that kind of defense. We ran only a very few of them, which leads me to wonder if we're even practicing them. I already have questions about Canales when it comes to preparation. There are certainly things I like about it, but I really need to see more "chess" type thinking. I know we have some "mentors" on staff, but it's possible we need some different ones.
  7. Saints did an excellent job of exploiting our weaknesses: qb and lack of pass rush. Stop Dowdle and the game is over
  8. Do you know why the defence is good enough to win now with an even remotely competent QB? I'll give you a hint, he wears #95.
  9. That's why the knocks on "the whole team" ring a bit hollow for me. The D wasn't terrible today by any means. Dowdle ran hard but was contained. Also looking beat up.
  10. We picked a inopportune time to need a QB with so many bad teams jostling for the top draft slots this year. But it's probably for the best. We just need to let the chips fall where they may and get our guy.
  11. If I had a top 5 pick and the Panthers offered me their superstar DT I'd call that trade into NFL HQ so fast your head would be spinning.
  12. I mean the defense seems good enough to win now if they had a QB who would even remotely challenge a defense downfield
  13. We took a victory Monday off, had Keegan-Michael Key in for a zoom speaker and generally had a great time living on the laughs and loves of beating Green Bay. And then the Saints came to town and had their first rookie QB win a game since 1981... 1981. fug.
  14. this is exactly where I am. He got some decent games out of Bryce last year that now looks like a miracle.
  15. Is the fact that we lost 17-7 and Jaycee horn fell down and surrendered 14 points.
  16. We’ll never say never but seems like the Panthers have already won too many games to be in the top 5. The main question is would the Panthers even be willing to invest another first round pick in a QB and I’m guessing they will not.
  17. Stay away from a QB in the draft this year unless it's a developmental guy late. Draft defense this year
  18. i disagree any coach that can win at the nfl level dispite byoung is impressive
  19. Damn I am sorry I missed that it was probably educational. I really wish Tepper had some awareness.
  20. Why do we have to trade away our best players? Target QBs in FA and keep your powder dry in the Draft. If the right guy falls to you then take him, but don't chase players. That's how you end up with people like Young.
  21. Panthers reddit is bad for you. It is chocked full of Icege KaseKlosed AceBoogie and *FreeFua* clones who would happily give up their firstborn child if it meant carrying water for Bryce Young no matter how bad he plays. There's nothing anyone can say to help someone like that.
