  3. That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp. I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
  4. jalen coker and demani richardson were both at one point cut from the roster and brought back and now are contributors my guess is that Barno isn't healthy enough at the moment after knee clean up procedure and they needed the roster spot for training camp
  5. Yeah, I would caution most Panther fans to ultimately realize that this team is still a very safe bet to be a top 10 draft pick in 2026. What we want to see is roster progression. Actually starting to win is a longer term goal. Welcome if it comes early, to be sure, but definitely not expected.
  6. IDK. If he was a PS candidate, seems like he would have made it further into the TC/preseason. I think it's more likely that he just didn't factor in after all the pass rush additions.
  7. It is the time of year for hopium, and I embrace it. I get that. I am biased. I feel I should be. But you know they don't actually pay attention to us. They aren't going to change their opinion of us no matter how much we "win" the off-season until we show it on the field, and I get that angle too. Not like it benefits them to be high on a small market team like us. I am a fan, and I am here to ROOT.
  8. "Hype levels" ultimately lean nothing and I honestly think that a lot of the perceived "hype" is largely confirmation bias because when you look most analysts, most still have us near the bottom the league in terms of overall roster strength and expectations on the field this season.
  9. I mean, it could be just me, but I feel we are at hype levels we haven't seen in a LONG time. Now, whether it is warranted or not, remains to be seen, but I am not the least bit upset that they are sprinting down the current highway. I haven't been this optimistic about our roster in a long time. We have some of the best position groups we have had in a few areas. We only have one glaring weakness in my mind. (LB) When was the last time we could say that? Our WR room is so talented we don't know who is making the roster. Our offensive line is essentially fixed. A few years ago, we would have sold our souls just to say that about the line.

  11. Expect it likely means the draft coverage will be tak n over by ESPN personalities... ...which sucks because I much prefer the existing NFL Network coverage.
  12. I am so glad we didn’t overthink our pick. Dude is a fuggin stud at WR
  13. lol, in a post I think yesterday I literally said "T-Mac does his Inspector Gadget thing on bad practice passes all the time"
  14. Gotta wait for some preseason games but sounds like Horn hitting waivers could be risky. Moore would probably be on the couch waiting for a spot to open due to injury. Gonna depend on how the return game looks in preseason as well, if Horn gets some time back there
  15. Over the years PFF seem to have more hits than misses with thier prospect evaluations. And with our recent draft history im all for a change of philosophy
  16. I agree and they keep playing it on the Football Network. I watch the first quarter and that's enough
  17. We wont trade him anyway, even if he had a market. I really dont see the need for him to see the field all that often though.
  18. I agree. I just don't know what the market looks like for him. I mean WR trades the last few years the returns are minimal. Even a guy like Hopkins who is 33 only got a 5th in return when he was traded to the Chiefs last year. Unfortunately I feel it's likely at the end of the day that we are virtually the only team valuing Thielen the way we do.
  19. No way you keep old butterfinger Moore over Horn. I would release Moore early see if he can get on with another team.
  20. He is not wrong though. If any team would give us a defensive piece worth acquiring for AT you have to jump on that. Top 3 should be Tet, XL, Coker, Renfrow is younger and cheaper, if he is healthy probably offers more upside as well.
  21. Many National NFL types, like Brett Kollman, already lauded the Panthers draft and free agent acquisitions. Kollman also said that he had a "buddy in coaching" that observed the practices that said the players were "night and day" better, and other local reporters from Charlotte and The Triangle, who aren't afraid to be critical, have noted the change as well. Moreover, I've always appreciated PFF and its analytics. I've also said many times that there's a difference between PFF's business of grading of players (which all 32 NFL teams use to some extent) and team/player rankings on the Internet (basically for clicks). So, yeah, "2 light practices" or not, I think the PFF link to the Panthers is fully positive. So yeah, you may be laughing...until you're not.
  22. Can we trade Thielen for a depth CB or LB? He and Renfrow are redundant on this roster.
  23. Keep doing it until you get it right
