Evading sacks and extending plays aren’t rushing yards. We are talking about him avoiding sacks and you have to branch off into some other category like rushing yards. We are at the point where it’s near impossible to even have a conversation with you about a certain QB.

I rarely root for injuries but when I do, it's Brad Marchand, Eric Haula and Ovechkin.

The Case for(or Against) Drafting/Signing a TE
kungfoodude replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
TMac is a considerably better pick than Warren given positional value and given that TMac has been a OROY candidate and sometimes favorite. I am more annoyed that we KEPT passing on TE's in the deepest TR draft in arguably the last decade. -
Vikings D was top 5 in points allowed in 2024. #1 in takeaways. Seahawks D are top 5 in points allowed game in 2025. #6 in takeaways. Sam Darnold is Sam Darnold. Sometimes he is paired with great defensive play, a great WR and solid overall teams. But Sam is Sam. All you have to do is watch him. Like last night.

30-9 since he left us. This place is a joke, sometimes you gotta look in the mirror.

yea....Minnesota fell off the map this year after going 14-3 with Darnold...bet they wish he was back... and his record looks good this year...maybe he figured it out.... he does get the tight azz in big games still.

i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that? even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.

Gotta go with the best forward on our team, Jackson Blake.

The Case for(or Against) Drafting/Signing a TE

This front office screwed the pooch again in the '25 draft. Tyler Warren was sitting there and would've been the perfect addition for a QB who can't push the ball down field and could've greatly used an intermediate route security blanket. I don't even entertain this team getting a draft pick or free agent correct at this point. Their drafts suck, and no decent free agent wants to live in Charlotte in their 20's, unless you wildly overpay for them. We are stuck hoping our division continues to suck, and 8 or 9 wins every year is competitive. -
The first might have been a smart play by the defender. Let him go, illegal man downfield. If it was, great play by the D lineman. We were always taught to get to the ball even if the whistle blows. Never let a ball sit for just this reason. Weird poo happens. Better to have the ball in your hand when it does than not.

The Case for(or Against) Drafting/Signing a TE

I don't remember it specifically. I would imagine any "insider info" that far out is a little vague. More along the lines of ths rather obvious things we can see. Hopefully the FO has a good idea of their attack plan as soon as the offseason cycle starts in a few weeks. -

Wasn't there a thread a few weeks back saying from one of the beat reporters. Our offseason targets are to get better at TE, Pass rushing and Inside LB -

More like a series of books that you pre-paid for a subscription to and now this many issues in you have to keep reading them because you are already so invested, even though it just keeps getting worse. I think those books are being written by AI now. Tommy Tremble had seven fingers on the last cover.
