  1. Past hour
  2. Yes, first drive was a good run, a sack and a 3/13 Bryce threw for 9. Then we punted. 2nd drive - 23 yard deep pass to XL (who caught it) - Great pass by Bryce and good catch by XL 26 yard Chuba run - Great run by Chuba 3 yard Chuba run - moving the sticks 6 yard pass to XL (who caught it again) - moving the stick 26 yard run by Chuba - love a balanced attack!!! great run 1 yard run from Chuba - moving the sticks Incomplete pass by Bryce. 5 yard TD pass from Bryce. - Good job by Bryce in the red zone. This was a very good series early in the game where Bryce, Chuba and the team played very well. No turnovers by Bryce. Chuba had a fumble in the 3rd. Next series: 4 yard run 24 yard pass 15 yard run 8 yard pass 1 yard run 2 yard run 3 yard pass 4 yard run 5 yard penalty Field goal good. Bryce did not have a very good 2nd half but not horrible either. He didn't make any mistakes that cost us the game. He had a 24 yard scramble and a TD pass to Moore called back because because of an illegal formation. That was and is positive progress so soon after he was benched. All around good team win and while Bryce didn't ball out he had a number of good throws and scrambles and didn't turn the ball over.
  3. The defense doesn’t even matter, really. When we are down 3 scores before anyone has taken their first sip of Gatorade because the offense won’t stay in the field, what does any of it matter?
  4. I respect players like Eric Shelton who get hit one time and are like “yeah fug this.” it takes a lot to realize and accept you don’t belong somewhere and I think we all wish Bryce had that kind of insight.
  5. We got that 5th year option now. That's why.
  6. I wish Zod would return just so he can auto-replace Bryce Young with Mr. Limited like he did The Golden Calf of Bristol.
  7. And the crazy thing is, there have been guys that have done it at his size. Flutie and Russ are the first that come to mind. He just doesn’t have the physical ability to PASS the fuging ball where it needs to go, nor the ability to escape pressure on any meaningful snaps.
  8. Or is only competitive agains mostly poo teams in the back half. Unfortunately we’re getting the poo teams in the front half this year and, whelp, here we are.
  9. Even if you concede that Bryce gets better as the season goes on you cant have a QB that just surrenders the first 2 games and the next 4 or 5 are iffy
  10. I understand very clearly that Wilks’ approach in ‘22 wasn’t going to make us able to beat the better teams, but he got us competing and succeeding against the teams we should beat, similar teams to us. And it felt the best any stretch has felt, under Tepper. But Tepper and the mob here had to have themselves the Offensive Minded HC, play caller guru. How’s that working out? I know this: guys in the locker room were all about Wilks. He equaled or bested the win total of every other coach under Tepper before or since. It is a fact, and not for nothin. FWIW I didn’t think he was gifted as a DC, when he was here as the DC. But he was excellent coaching DBs. All those jobs are different I guess, take different skill sets. I think his strength as a HC was getting people to follow him. That goes a long way. After what has befallen this team since rejecting him, I don’t feel like a lesser fan for supporting him, I promise you that.
  11. Since you also posted the Denver game, worth pointing out thumbing do anything for three quarters after the first drive until Denver went into garbage (Bryce) time. They got a meaningless late touchdown to make it a 14 point and give Bryce some yards. Since we’re moving into superlatives, they weren’t competitive at all in that game. and Bryce also got complete outshone by Bo Nix and anyone with pride would retire after that.
  12. Teams that are competitive don’t get blown out twice in four weeks to end the season. They barely beat some bad teams. the defense kept them close against the eagles and chiefs until the fourth quarter because the offense couldn’t find their ass with two hands before that. Eagles obviously didn’t take them very seriously, and the chiefs were pretty clearly smoke and mirrors in retrospect. That worst defense in the league shut down the eagles for most of the game. Mahomes was held scoreless in the fourth until the final drive. That doesn’t matter of course because it doesn’t support the Bryce narrative Falcons fired their defensive coordinator after the week 18 game, to give you an idea of what people who get paid to know the game think of him.
  13. School Players Drafted Alabama 10 Georgia 10 Florida 6 LSU 6 Tennessee 5 Auburn 5 South Carolina 5 Ole Miss 4 Kentucky 3 Texas A&M 3 Arkansas 2 Mississippi State 2 So 2 of the 16 SEC schools represent 1/3 of the players drafted in the 2023 draft from the conference. That's a high concentration of talent in 2 places. So assuming he's facing 1 to 2 NFL draft caliber players, he's also playing with 4 others on offense, plus 5 on defense, not counting the other classes, averaged. He definitely had it easier playing at Bama than "Playing in the SEC" would suggest.
  14. Uhhhh..... Hell no I wouldn't. Lol
  15. 1. Player needs to have been productive for three years at a serious school 2. Doesn’t need work on their fundamentals 3. bigger, faster, and blacker than everyone else at their position. (Ladd not withstanding)
  16. He wasn't. It was the result of media hype and that stupid S2 test. Stroud always made the most sense from a logical perspective trading up. AR was far too raw, Bryce had to defy the lack of 50 years of NFL QB success for someone with his measurables. It was a feel good story for a guy from a program that had more talent than anyone else they played week in and week out, and our cosplay NFL exec owners fell for it hook line and sinker.
  17. Their defense will be in our backfield more than Chubba....
  18. Yea, the difference though is that Georgia is a football powerhouse with tons of great players over the years, Arizona, is, well, not. lol Plus, like you said, we've had a bunch of them over the years. T-Mac is the best offensive player in Arizona's history (and a real argument to be made for overall best player, it would be a battle between him and a couple defensive guys). He also was the first Wildcat to ever be drafted by the Panthers (the last team to have never taken one of us). And as far as I'm aware, in the 21 years since I first went out there for school, Antoine Cason is the only other Wildcat we've had on the roster (and yea, I know he didn't work out for us, but dude was an All American and Thorpe winner for Arizona while I was there in school as we were freshman the same year, so yea, I was a big fan of his).
  19. That was when it looked like they decided to run clock, but not all of them realized it was a close catch. That’s honestly on Bryce and JT. they’re both the ones who saw the catch was close and they need to be aware it might get reviewed. im not sure it would have mattered since it was a booth review but neither the qb or receiver played their part there. XL just making things worse incidentally was just a cherry on the pie.
  20. Accepting defeat is not an attribute that’s relevant to a fan. Player maybe, yeah I think they wanna win. but as a fan this product ain’t good enough to be Atlanta from my observations we can’t stop the run, and we can’t score. They run the ball well. And get the ball out quick just not a good match up
  21. This. It seems like the front office is far more interested in coming up with a "find" than fielding a winning team. As a result, they are getting talked about a good bit - just not the way they want. I still say to take the top draft guides and rank the players 1-275. Then send in a ball boy, equipment manager or cheerleader to pick the highest player left on the board. If this was our process, we'd be way ahead on our rebuild. Instead, we get these mystery picks with 31 other GM's/coaches scratching their heads while they do their jobs. For proof I offer XL, DJ Johnson, Trevin Wallace, Jonatha Mingo, etc. The only "benefit" we get is UDFA's coming in and beating out the mystery picks.
  22. Yeah, it is top heavy representation more concentrated in the top tier schools. Vanderbilt, I listed as having no one drafted. So we know their defense had no draftees. But I didn’t find a list that broke it down for offense and defense. A team could have a couple guys drafted, from the offense. No way to know without combing through depth charts and draft results. So no thanks. Basically, the numbers would split out to around 4 guys per team. But as you pointed out, 17% were on one team. Then what about Georgia? LSU usually has a few. That leaves fewer spread through the rest of the conference.
  23. Would you Good on legette. He doesn’t need this poo n
