  1. Past hour
  2. There is really no threat of Tremayne not clearing waivers. That's what I meant.
  3. He is just Sam Darnold. Lots of talent, ten cent brain. Also, just not a good QB draft. Best of that bunch were Kyler, Jones and Minshew basically in that order. So one averageish starter and two backup QB's.
  4. I just don't see how we possibly keep 7 WRs giving we are a pretty mild pass O and strive for balance overall. Think WRs max out at 6. Probably give that spot to a defensive special teamer on coverage units.
  5. We need all the pass rush help we can get. We riot on Mint Street if they keep DJ Johnson over Incoom
  6. You and I were spot on on offense except I had Moore over Tremayne although I see your point about Moore not having to clear waivers. My other question was whether we kept another lineman (Kandra?) with Zavala being hurt, but he was back in pads today. On D, we disagree on a couple of bottom of the roster guys. I had Crumley over Robinson and Bam over Rhattigan, but WTF do I know. Rhattington played well Saturday. Also, I agree that Fitzgerald hasn't done enough to displace Wright.
  7. They should put Cam's picture on there add instead...they would sell better.
  8. Aaron Rodgers might be one as well. I know he is polarizing but his mind/memory is pretty insane. I know he had several MVP years were he lit it up with very few turnovers as well. I think he has a photographic memory.
  9. Personally, I am of the opinion that Jones was drafted mostly on the reputation and name of David Cutcliffe. He has never demonstrated any other reason to be drafted that high, or to stick around in the league for the amount of time he has.
  10. Saw this posted by the Hurricanes on social media, and thought immediately a seat by Martinook would be a hoot. I’m picking seat 4. Sorry, this waiting for the season to start is killing me, haha!
  11. Hope Incoom makes it, other players have talked about a lot
  12. Well, we signed Chubba to $50 million and I'm of the opinion that Etienne is the best running back in the room.
  13. I don't know man. Those receivers don't get enough credit. They were dawgs! All of them. All they did was be where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there. And they caught the ball - every time. And Gronk may be the best TE I've ever seen. Dude was an absolute MONSTER! Couple that with a top defense and Brady was never in a bad spot. He was definitely the catalyst, but he was rarely in a bad situation.
  14. remember cut day is next Tuesday. Gotta be at 53 by 1pm. We'll probably start with a few on Sunday, and a lot on Monday
  15. Tremayne would have to clear waivers. Moore wouldn't which is why I think the team could go this way. We could resign David Moore to the PS with no fear of anyone claiming him. Tremayne has showed enough I think there's a legit chance someone could claim him. But, I'm not certain we keep 7 WRs. I think the first 6 are locks: (T-Mac, XL, Theilen, Coker, Renfrow, Horn)
  16. Went to school in MD when this came out. Dance floor got CRAZY when this joint came on!
  17. They had best show out in Week 1 there are zero,I mean zero, excuses for that offense defense, haven’t play together yet and they still have Mr Soft and Predictable as DC I expect break downs at times …but that offense returns all starters except Tremble and both Mayes and Brady are veterans and can play LG and know the system not up for any participation awards this season they can save that practice energy for Jacksonville. I’m sick of the, winning, or looking competitive, when it doesn’t matter.
  18. There are some tough decisions that I'm eager to see the results of... Does Blackshear sneak on to the roster as RB4? Does the team go with 4 TEs or just 3 again? And has Mitchell Evans done enough to defend his roster spot from James Mitchell? Who is WR6 and is there a WR7? TMac, XL, Coker, and AT seem to be locks imo and I'm assuming Renfrow also makes it due to all of the camp praise. Who makes it between Brycen Tremayne, Jimmy Horn Jr, and David Moore? If the team goes with 7 WRs, which one of those three doesn't make it? Jacolby George and Emani Bailey both have not gotten a lot of game time. Could the Panthers be trying to hide them so that they can be stashed on the PS? Do they go with 10 OL instead of 9? Who makes it out of Walton, Carter, and Kingston? DL locks are DB, BB3, ARob, and Turk. That leaves Jaden Crumedy, Cam Jackson, Sam Roberts, Shy Tuttle, and LaBryan Ray all competing for the final 1 - 3 spots. Does DJ Johnson get IR'd and Thomas Incoom make the roster as EDGE5? What in the fuuuuuuuuuuuuck is going to happen at LB? Only locks seem to be Wallace, Rozeboom, and Cherelus (Wallace has mentioned in media how Cherelus has been big bro for him on the team). Rhattigan had some good moments against Houston, Martin-Scott is an SC guy, Krys Barnes has popped on defense and on special teams, and Windmon got time starting for the team last season. Are two of those guys going to make it or are the Panthers poaching from another team's cuts? CB5... who is it? Do they go with the 4 expected safeties or bring in a 5th? Has Ransom done enough to take the start from Nick Scott?
  19. I had this discussion with my buddy yesterday afternoon. If we start this season very slow(especially with the schedule being what it is) and then "rally" in the second half to get to 4-7 wins, I am already gonna be pretty heated at the staff overall. I know we are a very bad roster but I am not gonna keep excusing these slow season starts WITH late season rallies. That's a coaching staff problem, IMO. It's more excusable to just stink gate to gate, IMO. At least you can understand why.
  20. Today
  21. No. I think he lost the coaching staff with that taking himself out stunt and always being injured. Not to mention, he just doesn't improve at all. Not an ounce. Sad state of affairs to basically easily lose a starting battle to Daniel Jones.
  22. Exactly. This preseason gives me concerns simply because we've been so trash for so long and year after year we try to convince ourselves that preseason doesn't matter and we're going to magically look better as soon as the regular season gets here. It hasn't worked out for us like that. I sure hope it does this year but I'm done having any positive expectations out of this organization. I'm going into the season hoping for the best but fully expecting trash. That way there's no disappointment. If we're trash it's like "yep, business as usual again". If we actually do magically flip the switch this year it's like "fuging SWEET, this is awesome!"
  23. Looks legit, gotta think if a LB or safety they like gets cut we would make a move.
  24. Yea, if the team looks like hot ass the first two weeks again it's not going to be a happy time. It'll be especially frustrating if the team starts slow but finishes strong but at the same time that's probably what will happen with the new defense + young weapons getting acclimated... I expect that to take until halfway through the season, and I don't believe that extra preseason snaps would help that much to speeding up the timeline. Even if it meant they gelled a game or two sooner, there's the added risk of injury on a team that's still trying to build depth after years of bad decisions. Now if they start slow and have the same approach in 2026 with a more complete team I'm going to have some not so nice questions (and opinions) for/about the staff.
  25. Everything about AR's demeanor in the NFL screams that they should've identified serious mental make up red flags during the pre-draft process. I mean, if you're going to roll the dice on a project type player you have to at least be convinced that the guy is coachable and he's going to commit himself to improving his craft. There just haven't been any signs of that from AR.
