This is where I'm at. Dowdle is a feel good story and glad he's proving his doubters wrong. I just don't see how we keep our OL intact (which is the right move) and spend on another RB after giving Chuba his money. Though the odds are against him, I do think Brooks can still be our RB2 next year..and if he stays healthy, our longterm RB1. Having the full offseason with no pressure to try and come back like last year will help. I'm also happy to see he and TD have been connecting. If this team is smart, they go into next year with Chuba/Brooks/ETN and sign a Dowdle-light version in FA at minimum cost. Chuba is in his prime and a full offseason to fully recharge will only benefit him more. Dowdle is unfortunately a luxury item I don't think we can spend our money on. We still have other areas of need that we have to improve on the defensive side of the ball. -
TheBigKat started following so yea... the um Saints.... how do we beat them this time?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. made hundreds of millions off realizing this. He was an exciting boxer in his early days but watching his dad and uncle struggle with the effects of taking thousands of punches to the head he realized he was skilled enough to good guys without putting himself at risk and he'd just wait for other elite guys to lose a step before facing them. The whole WWE-esque "Money" persona was built around the realization that it doesn't matter if they're watching to see you win or watching hoping you'll lose, all that matters is that they're watching. Force them to love you or hate you, just make sure they care enough to tune in. We had a similar situation with Cam. Everyone felt some kinda way about Cam. You couldn't find many NFL fans who were neutral on Cam Newton. It was love or hate but either way it was must see TV.

Betting. 20-6 is solid.

This is the exact same thing as those dudes who get mad when you criticize Bryce and respond with “well, you’re not a real fan” or “go be a fan of another team” lol
-
lol. I call Trevor Lawrence average at best and a bust of a pick. He was built in a robot lab so his ceiling is forever high. but yeah, if you have watched the Jags all season....the boneheaded QB has had his WRs drop a ton of balls (league leading). So for this particular year, it is worth mentioning given they lead the league and many have been huge. It's like when we talk about the stats Cam would have had and mention Ginn's huge drops. It's worth noting. Doesn't change the fact Trevor play the position dumb and always will.

My query was for ALL centers, regardless of which line. 21 centers have more points than Aho. https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/nhl-centers-points-leaders-this-season

Well why are you in here my guy? lol Just wanted to make sure you threw your shot at Shedeur and those who like him, huh?
-
Bryce ain't it but going after Shedeur as the answer? LOL! Good lord... If he continues to play well he's not gonna be available and if he doesn't then why would we want him anyway?
-
I mean, there's a reason some of us were clamoring for Shedeur when he kept falling in the draft. There was zero reason not to draft him, rather for potential competition or as a quality backup, instead we drafted some dude named Cam Jackson who doesn't even get activated. I don't get the hate for the kid. His performance isn't a surprise to me in the slightest. I watched many Colorado games, and everytime I turned the tv on Shedeur was slicing up a defense with precision and ease. It is what is at this point, we're stuck with Bryce for the foreseeable future. Browns aren't trading Shedeur anyway, unless Stefanski really does hate Shedeur like their fans and the media says, and going by the fact that he took him out with the game on the line, it is very possible. That would then involve Tepper giving the ok to trade for him in the first place which ain't happening lol

Blessings to him, whichever way it works out. -
Sanders threw for some yards in a loss. Big deal. That's doesn't mean much of anything. If he's good they aren't trading him!

Again, it's not one stat. The chart is from Pro-Football-Reference as of this morning. The difference between Young and any of the other QBs between the Orange highlights is significantly insignificant. So if you are claiming Young should be replaced based upon those numbers, than so should everyone around him - which is just foolish.

godalmighty cranky is into the sauce early

As I’ve said in other threads, the amount of chances Bryce has been given is the definition of entitlement. I’ve never before seen a guy be handed something he’s done everything in his power to piss away and show he wasn’t deserving of it. He has been given chance after chance after chance and at every turn, he showed he wasn’t deserving. And not only was he still given the job, but this organization went out of their way to coddle him and ensure nothing threatened his ego or confidence - measures usually reserved for proven franchise QBs. Deion may have put Shedeur in advantageous positions, but Shedeur is overcoming adversity on his own and he is showing out.
-
Okay, haven't read what came before. Doesn't matter. NO WE fuging DON"T HAVE TO GO AFTER SHEDUER fuging SANDERS!!!!!!! Leave him and his whole family where they are. Thank you.
-
Why would he do that when he’s a panthers fan, and has only mentioned Shedeur in this thread (a thread about Shedeur)? Some of yall just can’t handle when a player you don’t like gets just a tiny bit of praise lol

The funny thing is when I brought up Youngs lack of talent and coaching his first year, I was told "your just making excuses". When I brought up that maybe some of Youngs early struggles this year were in part because of lack of experience in receivers, I was told "your just making excuses" again. But when you talk about Mayfields' performance this year, you point put all the injuries contributing to his low numbers. When CRA talks about Lawrences' low numbers this year, in another post, he blames them on his receivers "letting him down". Double standards. Anyway, Mayfield is 14th in QBR at 60 as of this morning. That's 2 spots above average. Hardly "quite a bit above average". Unlike the hard core haters on this board, I will admit that a QB's numbers are dependant on the talent around him and agree Mayfields numbers have been affected by injuries this season. I am not trying to trash Mayfield. I am just claiming CRA's post that Young sucks because his numbers are below average is misguided as they are pretty much in line with Baker Mayfield, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Michael Penix, Trevor Lawrence, Cam Ward and Caleb Williams numbers.

About anything specific?

if we are investing the money in the O-line (Mays / Ekwonu) then Rico is odd man out.... It'll be Chuba / Etienne / Brooks -
Again, ONE stat doesn't make you below average or average. Bryce Young. EVERY. SINGLE. SEASON. is below average in all the major ways we judge QB production. I can repeat it for you if you would like. He is 25th on among qualifying QBs and you can go to ESPN. ESPN includes more QBs than the ones shown there. But again, you are fixated on Bryce making the epic ride from 25th to 22nd.....which is still below average and ignoring all his other below average production lol. and again, if Bryce Young doesn't deliver year in and year out below average production, then it isn't a thing and you are voiding it from existence. It's pretty simple

Feel free to get a Sanders jersey.
