REPORT: Bryce Young ankle injury is “just a one-week injury”
strato replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Made me laugh because it’s so Panthers -
I suppose in a sense it seems fair. Let’s compare and contrast one or two little things. You have one guy going through his first OC change. And the other guy is going through his first year with the same OC. No big deal. PS I should repeat that neither player has one little bit to do with how the other is playing.
-
Its literally just the passing stats from the last seasons worth of games. I would say thats fairly far from cherry picked.
-
You’re absolutely correct, great dude, wish him the best just don’t want him with this team next year. He can ride the bench elsewhere.

If Dalton plays well in a win against Buffalo I keep him in there. Bryce has done nothing at all to suggest it’s his job to keep once he returns. But I suspect Dalton will suck too and we lose -
One thing he will never do is drop a few bombs a game. WTF?

Coach called it an ankle, and every talking head said high ankle sprain. Just going off what was reported. Don’t care either way. -

If Andy throws for 500 yards well you bench him for the guy that will give you 180. Of course. Onay then, this is funny poo but the goal is to have Bryce prove what he can do with the team they built for him So we hope he can play and be healthy and show what he has. Because we need to see that he can be the QB to go forward with. Once and for all. -
Agree with a lot of that. Juat going to add that a big issue with teams that lack patience and commitment is they also lack continuity. They sacrifice it for the now. I think the media stole this from me but I thought we had alignment with the coach and the front office that we had not had for a long time. Very important. Kidding about the media but I promise I didn’t steal that from them. They are both green and we need to try and have some patience with them because there are always bad decisions. Or mistakes. Everyone makes them.

It was never a high ankle sprain and I don't think team ever said that. He got cleated on the calf. Seems like something you could tough out -

This also fits the modern context of "doing your own research." Step 1: Type in my opinion into search engine/social media/YouTube Step 2: Wait for algorithms to serve up what I want to hear/read to validate my opinion. Step 3: Ignore all other data. -
Here comes the minor leaguer argument. The Jets was completely different that Atlanta. We needed him to be able to run a passing attack against them because they were putting it on him doing that. When you run all over someone you don’t have to have that pass so much. But they were not letting that happen so we have to do it another way. I was fearful of a turnover losing that for us before he went out of the game.
-
I am not prepared to say that. Darnold still has a ton to prove.

Cam has to be the bigger man there. He had a lot more to lose that whatever goober is in that costume. -
I like Dan and Dave. I think they can build this thing. Dave’s energy alone gives him a leg up on cornball conman Rhule and the dry Thanksgiving leftovers that was Frank Reich. Dave needs to have a real OC, he’s not a great play caller and needs to focus on the Pete Carroll rah rah schtick. Things change fast tho. We were supposed to have a ready made OLine Bryce’s rookie year, Bozeman got fat, Ickys sophomore slump and a slew of injuries. It was hell. Had to bring a Brinks truck for two guards. Getting over the hump in the NFL is a tall task. Staying over it is nearly impossible without Brady/Mahomes. If they get behind somewhere before showing consistency it will be over for them too.
-
I think it would. He is more durable than the rookie and far far better than Wentz.

It's asking the laziest questions to one of the dumber people you know, essentially. With just as little context.
