  1. Past hour
  2. That’s his main issue and it just doesn’t seem like he’s ever going to figure it out Tools wise it’s all there but his inability to diagnose or see things is what’s going to end his time in the league
  3. poo happens. Jets have a very good defensive line. We won and we move on to next week.
  4. Oh ok I didn't realize that. Cuz it looked like a patented Bryce young deep ball
  5. If that were true the Geno Smith stories would be all over the place. Also, the league would be flooded with extremely capable QB's, which it assuredly is not. Don't get me wrong, I am sure some QB's have literally been ruined by their circumstances. David Carr comes to mind. But I do think that is the far rarer case. Most of these guys just aren't good enough. It is what it is.
  6. We can beat the Bills. They haven't looked great and we play much better at home. They have only beaten the Saints, Dolphins, Jets, and barely Baltimore. They are coming off a bye week though so hopefully they didnt figure it all out during the bye
  7. Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
  8. Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
  9. I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cost Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance. I think Greg Cosell is exactly right. We're playing on offense the way we have to play with Bryce Young at QB. I'd be curious to see what it looks like with a QB with more arm talent and more willingness to push the ball down the field even if it comes with turnovers.
  10. Apparently there were 20 mph gusts in the fourth quarter and that pass definitely looked like it n just died in the air.
  11. There is always a chance. Injuries happen, bad calls are made, footballs bounce funny because of the shape.
  12. I am not sure how you got to "every game" but okay. What he isn't suppose to do is have 50 yds in 4 games. Especially as a first rounder.
  13. Jets defense is better than what their record says. I’ll credit the bad QB day on us not establishing the run and trying to figure out the Hubbard/Rico situation on the fly. That being said we won and hopefully the coaching staff walked away with a clearer picture of what’s next for the offense now that we’re facing the hardest part of our schedule
  14. Jameis and Howell will extremely effectively lose games. Unsure if they will lose them more effectively than Hooker. I am just not seeing the benefit for adding a third string QB. We aren't gonna tote a third stringer all season, I would think.
  15. I would take Bryce Young on one leg with an eye patch over Justin Fields at this point.
  16. You can say that again! I never wanted him to be a Panther.
  17. Happy for XL and icky. We need them to be good.
  18. I mean two of those guys are literally starting for their teams so you can eliminate them as a possibility. Hienicke is not on an NFL roster. We can literally just sign him. Garopollo is the primary backup for an oft-injured QB, so unless they really like Stetson Bennett, I am not sure how viable that is. Also, Garopollo is literally worse than Dalton and significantly more injury prone.
  19. This is just a non-argument. Jameis and Howell are the guys being mentioned most often. Jameis is an a two year/$8M contract and Howell is on a one year/$1.1M contract. What I'd be willing to do is something along the lines of a 6th rounder or a 5th/6th swap. I don't think anyone is talking about doing anything much more aggressive than something along those lines.
  20. I never said they weren’t. Hate how they ran the team but I’ve been more than pleased with DB and Horn even if I hated the picks at the time.
  21. Andy didn't really look great either. He had the same issue Bryce has specifically on that deep ball... Legette had to basically stop and wait for it cuz it was so underthrown We need a legit qb
  22. I think others have said it here, but after what I’ve seen of XL the past 3 games, I’d love to see what he can do with a QB capable of stretching the field (I.e. almost anyone but Bryce)
  23. Rico has more burst, id like to start seeing this from Hubbard.
  24. People seem to have this notion that first round QBs are 100% determined by their environment like a field of crops. Like Bryce isn’t good because we didn’t water him enough basically.
  25. I’d be happy with 1-1-1. 3 points in the next three. My gut says we get 4 points.
