  2. Nick Scott has gotten his share of Huddle hate, but I came across this SI article by Zach Roberts when I was researching recently released Quandre Diggs, speculated to be a better option (https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2025/11/07/breaking-titans-cut-former-three-time-pro-bowler-quandre-diggs-4-destinations-ranked/3/), but getting back to Nick Scott... Now to be fair, the observation on Scott was before the Packers game, but the stats couldn't have changed that much, and may have gotten better. "At some point during virtually every Carolina Panthers game, you have probably found yourself grumbling about Nick Scott. The much-maligned safety has seemingly been out of position a lot or has failed to make a play. The eye test has often let him down. "But that's why stats are so helpful. Sometimes, the eye test, especially for fans, is unreliable. On occasion, advanced metrics help make sense of things and lend more clarity. In the case of Scott, they make him look like a much better safety than any of us would've guessed. "In coverage, Scott has given up just 15 yards and an average of five yards per catch. That's the lowest among safeties, leading superstars like Julian Love, Talanoa Hafunga, Quandre Diggs, Kerby Joseph, Kyle Hamilton, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. "In FI%, the safety leads all his counterparts once again at 40%. Brian Branch, Camren Kinchens, and Xavier McKinney are some notable names he leads. He's been pretty excellent in pass coverage, which is crucial for the Panthers." For those wondering, "FI" means forced incompletions. Now I'm way past trying to figure out why X links aren't embedding for me like they used to, but here you go: https://x.com/dacornerman/status/1981363757608513632?t=rx_5iLjp8_y5huNcg_y1nA&s=19 Suffice it to say that Scott may not be as bad as some have led on. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/news/much-maligned-panthers-db-way-better-than-think
  3. Nah it was Graham. I remember watching it live.
  4. Today
  5. True, OL is huge and style fits and things do change. I mean Hubbard looks a lot different from last year. He was an animal last year and he’s tentative this year.
  6. Nice, I can't remember poo anymore.
  7. 2015 was a long time ago. The world passes each day and all we connect with are memories. Some good, some worse. Enjoy what you have and gloss over the negativity. Each moment is only a possibility for the next. That's to say, Bryce is pretty fuging limiting but at least he gives us a chance to win. We have a RB right meow that is goating and a defense that's playing inspired. Any fuging given sunday, gentle men and gentle ladies. Until our next drink, Me. Signed: no proofreading.
  8. Our fans after beating San Francisco were chanting We Want Dallas! The Cowboys previously had knocked us out of the playoffs 93, 94 and 95. They also beat us 7 straight times. 1997 we finally beat them in Lambeau.
  9. 1996-97. Green Bay and Carolina in Lambeau for the NFC championship. Young franchise just whooped the snot out of an arrogant Neon Deion and even though we lost, that was a magical finish.
  10. I think we were down 37-14 and we made it 37-29 and actually got the ball back with a chance to tie it. You guys stopped us.
  11. That happened in the game I mentioned above I think.
  12. Cam ripping down a Packers Banner that someone brought into BoA
  13. what is it for you all? Obviously last Sunday will be on majority of everyone’s favorite memories. I remember the 2002 matchup where Rodney Pete got the Panthers all the way down to the goal line down 17-14 with 5 seconds to play. I remember we stopped the Panthers the previous play as you guys tried to run it in. The Panthers settled for a FG to force overtime and either Shayne Graham or John Kasey missed it and the Packers won! I also remember the 2015 game where you guys kicked our rears in the first half but we had a huge comeback in the 2nd half that came up short. How bout everyone else’s memories?
  14. What did you guys think of Kerry Collins?
  15. Good lord. Bryce might sniff 7-9 as a Panther this year, after three tries. Rodney did it after a 1-15 season the year before he came.
  16. Yeah it’s been optimism for some people but nothing but pain for others. I am in the latter group.
  17. Trade deadline is over but the titans released safety quandre Diggs. 64 pff grade and available to sign anywhere.
  18. Didn’t Deangelo Williams score 4 Touchdowns on us in 2008?
  19. You're getting the exact opposite here, Delhomme was a great QB and the perfect QB for that team. The Fox offense has a stereotype of being conservative, but it was actually very much a big-chunk offense. We'd gash teams with the run and throw massive chunk plays downfield - it was closer to an Air Coryell than to power run. Delhomme had a great arm and his ability to throw downfield opened up the running game - and vice versa. Jake actually led the entire league in yards per completion in 2008. Unfortunately his arm that year only lasted 16 games. In hindsight, but there was really no reason to at the time. Jake was having a very, very strong season in 2007 before he got hurt. We brought in David Carr in 2007 to compete and he was awful. Extending Jake in 2009 was clearly the wrong move.
  20. And took the Rams offer for Burns and kept DJ Moore and not traded away the world for Bryce?
  21. That’s pretty funny. If I remember right that was a Sunday night or Monday night game so I was in bed and missed the 2nd half.
  22. I agree but he would probably want more. 3 is the compromise
