  1. Past hour
  2. Ahh poo. You are correct. @LinvilleGorgecan you change the day from Tuesday to Monday on the title thread. I apologize.
  3. Tyson can't stay healthy. Some argue if he could abstain from injuries and minus the concerns from past ones, he'd be WR1 in this class. Some team is either going to get a steal or see their first round pick sitting on the training table a lot.
  4. I agree, he's a very good player. He wrote a nice piece the other day too; seems like a well put together dude. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/kc-concepcion-nfl-draft-ncaa-football-texas-a-m
  5. McShay just said his stock (and Tysons) were skyrocketing from what he is hearing Then again many draft experts say you absolutely cannot believe anything the week of the actual draft. Thursday cannot get here fast enough
  6. Not according to the contact tracker in another thread, but the 30 visits had not been used up either so we may have visited him since then. However, Dillion T's. stock has steadily been rising. Several weeks ago he was still considered an early second rounder. I've seen recent mocks with him now going as high as #12 to the Cowboys. That's roughly a 20 draft slot difference. He was out of our range weeks ago for #19, but he's firmly there now.
  7. 4 fat juicy high picks on Bryce Young alone. Plus DJ Moore and all the picks they spent chasing his replacement. It’s a load. Throwing pick 200 at another one won’t even move the needle.
  8. For those keeping score, the Canes were credited with 57 hits to Ottawa's 39.
  9. He’s also substantially big than both of those guys. People can fixate on a contextless stat that appeals to their confirmation bias if they want here: when you watch a guy play and route up high end man corners-he’s going to get drafted high. ill add another stat: It was mentioned on the radio that he apparently faced the highest percentage of uncatchable balls over 15 yards in all of CFB last season. Watch him play and he consistently had to climb the ladder. Hes a good player.
  10. Given morgans/panthers draft history it would be incredibly rare to draft someone that high that we havent had any contact with. I think he is either off our board for whatever reason or they think he isnt going to be there so why waste the time. I dont know. Have we had any contact with dillion T?
  11. Yes, but if he's BPA on the board at #19 then that doesn't matter. We can't contact every possible prospect in our range. Heck, a few guys we contacted will be LONG gone before #19, but they did it any way. Again, Sadiq is my only hard NO with our first round pick. Anyone else in that range I will be cool with, even DL.
  12. Today
  13. McShay on his pod is now saying he is hearing teams are being coy about Ty Simpson and at least 3 teams really like him. Cards, Jets, Rams and they may have to move up to get him later in the first. Rams could get an impact player at 13 to help this year but this is their window so they may want to move up from 61 to get Staffords replacement and have him on the bench for a year to restart another window. And we know rams dont give a fug about future picks. 19 for 61, 2027 1rst and something else. Hell yeah all day every day Please please please Dan morgan do your thing and drum up interest in the 19th pick. If you come away with a future first I will not say one negative thing about you for a year
  14. Again, if we draft Sadiq over KC 'CuZ ThAt RAS Is FiRe!' Morgan and company are bigger morons than I thought. Some folks are mocking Tampa taking Sadiq, they may have to save us from ourselves.
  15. Their power play was pretty damn good against TB. Look, the Habs only had 5 SOG thru 2 periods, so it's not like TB rolled over and played dead. But TB has one of best PKs in the league... mostly because they've gotten a lot of practice being the most penalized team in the league.
  16. Would be hilarious if we waste two draft picks on players who can’t see the entire field.
  17. I'm not opposed to a WR. Everyone has pretty much just assumed that we have a surefire star with Jalen Coker after a few good plays/games throughout his career. I, for one, actually agree that Jalen Coker is going to be a star, but I'm also old enough to remember Keary Colbert and Kelvin Benjamin. I don't oppose stacking the WR room until we build out a roster of proven, reliable pass-catchers for whomever the QB of this team is in 2027.
  18. This draft is deep at WR... Is there that much of a gap in later rounds? Once again I see a great OL available in the 1st rd and still have a great opportunity to get A productive wr later. Ioane Penn st.
  19. Breaking news: someone that might know something said something that may or may not be true
