The overall gist from the peanut gallery "How can you not like this signing!!!111!!!!!!11!!!!!"
-
I want to see some more passes right into a DT's face mask. Good job

100%. Phins not having Hill though will make life drastically different for our defense. But they got Waller, Waddle, and Achane is probably more than they can handle. Need a bad Tua game.

Everyone deals with injuries in the NFL. Thier biggest challenge will be coming off a Monday night game. I could see them showing up like Atlanta did.

These dudes just phoning in content. This is the better version of Bryce? Oh lawd, wait til he hits a bad streak lol
-
There was a whole lot of coping going on in that thread damn. Life comes at you fast!

What I saw in Sunday was a team that has given up. No, it’s not all on Bryce but his play does not inspire confidence from his teammates. After watching Horns interview I feel like it is pretty obvious, plus when Andy came in the offense seemed to fly around and no I am absolutely NOT saying Andy should start. At this point let Bryce sink himself, trade value is zero anyway.

Bryce Young has been handed starting gigs since he was a kid and his parents paid for him to get the best coaching available. It cannot be understated what playing for Saban and Alabama did for him in terms of his perception in the media. The hype he has received and the pass he still receives is like nothing I've ever seen. You would think he willed a mediocre Alabama team to a national championship and won it largely on his own. Cam Newton did that. And he still wasn't regarded as the best QB in his class. Bryce showed up to the combine and hid out in a hoodie. He knew full well what he was doing and you best believe his parents were in his ear advising him to do so too. He looks like a guy who has never had to face real adversity in his life. And the Panthers have only reinforced that and further coddled him. The results speak volumes. -
signing andy dalton to that deal never made an ounce of sense and you see the usual suspects poo folks when we pointed it out in real time The next "wtf" contract we will rehash is going to be moton and we got receipts for that as well

not going to matter

CRA started following Dolphins - injury

Tyreek Hill carted off the field last night was a bad knee injury

Posted this before but for 2025 our salary cap spending on the offense versus the defense is comically lopsided. We have invested a great deal just to try and make this kid look even mediocre and he can't do it. https://overthecap.com/positional-spending

Robinson? I really don't know who else......I think he's the first injury call up

No disrespect to you, but this is exactly the point. Then maybe you don’t trade up and draft this guy #1 and then give him three years to further run your franchise into the ground simply because you have an affinity for him as a person? You don’t draft QBs that need to be “carried” by their team in the first round, and you definitely don’t draft them #1 overall. And you definitely should cut your losses when you realize that’s what they are. and slow or not, Bryce has missed or poorly placed countless deep throws this year when the receiver beat their coverage. He did it again Sunday. You don’t have to be a burner to get open downfield. But again, all this pressure is placed on everyone else to be flawless because their QB is ass. What’s easier? Having a horrible QB and acquiring 10 above average players to surround him with? Or finding even an above average QB who can make the 10 guys around him, most of whom might be average, better than they actually are? That’s why I’ve never understood this strategy the team took by drafting him in the first place. The amount of resources and assets it takes to accommodate him is unreal.

Yeah, if we can get a QB, HC, DC, FO, most of a defense, almost all depth, probably a kicker and a competent owner....we are probably right there
-
We get it. It's only on Bryce when it goes well. So which NFL QB wouldn't everyone take over Bryce at this point? Which staff would help him with alm we know? There is no one that runs the scheme Bryce requires to function well because those are all in school. There is no one that can overcome his limitations in that scheme regularly in the NFL. But it's never on Bryce... I am so tired of having a QB that has to be carried constantly or play a team that's asleep.

I find it funny that these guys sign up for this job after multiple meeting with Tepper. Coaches or GMs who 'didn't interview well' or decline further interviews show a lot of intelligence IMO. Tepper has a type and it's why the team is a constant dumpster fire.

i really thought joey was gonna be something not sure what happened to him

They overspent on OGs so they went cheap behind them. Classic overreach. Brining back an injury prone C just leads to the eventual shorthanded they set up through their personnel choices. With Moton making bank too they were left hoping to avoid injuries...a very dumb approach in the NFL.
